Christmas is in the air over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

We’ve seen bits and pieces of Christmas start to make their way into the parks recently with the luminaries and lanterns appearing on Discovery Island. And, today, Disney’s Animal Kingdom has become a full-on Winter Wonderland as more decorations take over the park!

Make sure to put on your coziest sweater and pack your pair of Peppermint Minnie Ears because we’re taking you with us to check out the rest of the park decorations!

Entrance

Walking into Animal Kingdom, we noticed a beautiful green garland above the entrance gate.

Just outside the gates, a massive Christmas tree stands tall, complete with ornaments and presents underneath.

It’s decorated with animal-themed ornaments.

And the holiday decorations continue as you walk through the gates into the park itself.

Discovery Island

Even our favorite coffee stop, Creature Comforts, is decked out in holiday gear with a festive garland draped across the top of the building.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas with animal lanterns, and garland strung around the rooftops.

The lampposts around the Tree of Life have festive garland wrapped around them.

All the shops are getting in on the holiday spirit.

The Discovery Trading Company is especially jolly right now.

Africa

Over in Africa, colorful banners have been placed over the walking paths.

Even snack spots have gorgeous Christmas red flowers and decorations.

African-inspired holiday wreaths adorn each lamppost.

The detail given to the African-themed decorations is truly stunning!

Asia

In Asia, colorful paper lanterns hang above the walking paths.

DinoLand, U.S.A.

DinoLand is even getting in on the holiday action.

We even found a smaller tree near Triceratops Spin.

Golden bells with holiday ribbons adorn lampposts here.

Pandora

Pandora is also enjoying the holiday season. Although this world is already colorful, we discovered that it was even MORE vibrant with its holiday decorations up.

We even spotted a Menorah at Pongu Pongu.

The garland over the paths here is inspired by the world of Pandora itself.

It’s amazing how each land in Animal Kingdom has its own unique themed decorations.

We can’t get over how amazing the parks look right now (we just really love Christmas)! While we keep an eye out for upcoming treats and entertainment coming to the parks for the holidays, we’ll keep you updated with everything you need to know before you go!
