Disney+ is gearing up the holidays with brand new entertainment!
We’re highly anticipating the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special which will be packed with new adventures and hilarious callbacks to the original Star Wars trilogies. Disney just released a new trailer and poster art for the special and it looks like it’s going to be a WILD ride!
The special takes place during Life Day, which is kinda like Christmas for the Wookies. The real adventure starts when Rey and BB-8 go on a journey to find a deeper knowledge of the Force. The two get hurled into a cross-timeline adventure after visiting a mysterious Jedi Temple. This is where they meet Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, and more past characters! SO many more characters from past Star Wars movies like Anakin, Kylo Ren, Chewbacca make appearances throughout the film too.
The trailer shows this journey as well as some hilarious moments that poke fun at the Star Wars franchise. (The whole “who shot first” thing is brought up and Lando Calrissian really wants a cape for Christmas!) Check out the LEGO Star Wars holiday trailer!
The humor is very similar to the new LEGO Movies and has a lot of tongue-in-cheek funny moments. Be sure to tune into Disney+ on November 17th to stream the premiere of the LEGO holiday special!
