Disney World is Starting to Test Holding Merchandise Once Again!

One of the convenient services typically provided by Disney World gift shops is the ability to hold your merchandise during the day, so you don’t have to haul your treasures around the parks with you! Since reopening, however, this service has been temporarily unavailable to keep Guests and Cast Members safe.

While in Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, we learned that one of the shops is currently testing this service once again!

We popped into Windtraders in Pandora as we were making our rounds through Animal Kingdom to see what was new today! In the past most shops have been able to hold merchandise during the day, and today Windtraders was testing out the service once again.

If you’re looking for a Cast Member to hold your merchandise for you, the registers is where you’ll want to head to!

We were given a tag to provide our information. We were told that at this time, merchandise will only be held until 5PM, and that they can hold merchandise from any store! They cannot, however, hold any personal belongings.

We missed this service being offered when the parks reopened so we hope this test phase goes well and Disney World can implement merchandise storage once again!
