The theme parks and hotels at the Disneyland Resort are still closed at this time. While discussions regarding California theme parks reopening are “forthcoming,” the state has yet to issue industry guidelines, which are key for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure to reopen.
As the closures continue, Disneyland has had to push back the timeline for when they can accept new resort reservations. Previously, Disneyland was only accepting new reservations for arrivals after September 16th. Now, the Anaheim resort has pushed this back by another two weeks.
Disneyland is now accepting reservations for arrivals beginning on October 1st, 2020. Checking the resort’s website, we noticed that we could not make a new reservation for a check-in date of September 30th.
Once we changed our check-in date to October 1st, however, we noticed that all three resorts were showing availability.
Keep in mind that this does not mean the Disneyland Resort will reopen on October 1st. As we have seen in the past, Disneyland’s extended closure has lapsed over dates where new reservations were previously being accepted.
