Disney World is getting ready to reopen soon, and Cast Members have started to be called back into the parks.
Although resort, attractions, and festival Cast Members have been brought back, not everyone will be returning immediately.
While Disney World suspended the Disney College Program back in April and sent many employees home as a health and safety precaution, Disney Internships and Programs have released more information about what will happen with the Disney College Program going forward.

At this time, the Disney College Program’s closure will be extended indefinitely. Housing units will not be reopening as a health and safety precaution, and employment offers have been withdrawn at this time.
However, the program fee has been refunded to the Disney College Program members. In the future, Disney has stated that they will be amending the eligibility requirement so people who have recently graduated will be able to re-apply.
Although Disneyland has postponed its reopening, Disney World will be welcoming guests again on July 11th and July 15th. While there aren’t any details about when Cast Members will be brought back again, we’ll keep you updated!

Did the CP program back in 2004, working resort front desk at POP, this included mousekeeping, front desk and luggage. It was by far the best experience of my life. The whole housing, transportation, chance to meet cast members from around the world & opportunities you can seek out during, is really set up to greatly advance your career! And in addition just give you an amazing time. I did the 7 month long program, and strongly feel it was better than doing a 4 month short one. I was able to have a full time cast member mentor, as one of the opportunities, and be mentored in my college field, which was art. I then went on to land a professional internship, as a Disney designer and continue on the program bc of the opportunities the CP program gave me. I learned so much and really started my career path and formed my future career! Highly recommend, plus it was a blast!! Making magic is an amazing thing as a cast member!!
