Disney World Dining reservations reopened today! (Well, some did.)

Guests with confirmed resort check-in dates prior to Disney World Parks reopenings can book dining reservations at select Disney World Resort Restaurants as of this morning.
To book dining reservations, you resort check-in date must be between June 22nd to July 10th. At this time only dining reservations within those dates are available and only at resort locations. For example, if your resort reservation is from July 7th to July 15th, you may currently book resort dining for July 7th to July 10th ONLY.
The Reservation Line opened at 7AM ET this morning, and we were on hold for over an hour and fifteen minutes waiting to make dining reservations. Currently, only select Disney Springs restaurants are available to book online — all resort dining reservations must be made over the phone.
If you’re calling to make reservations now, it seems like you should be ready to wait on hold for a while — perhaps it’s a good time to meal prep? Get your sweat on? Cuddle your cat? Build a LEGO masterpiece? Whatever you do, just don’t hang up. 🙂

Additionally, you can only book dining reservations within your confirmed resort reservation dates. For example, if your reservation ends on June 27th, you will not be able to book dining on June 28th.
We also confirmed that you can book reservations at ANY open dining location — not just your resort. As a tip, make sure you write down any confirmation numbers as you’re given them, in case there’s an error with your My Disney Experience App. That way, you can manually link them so they display properly under your plans.
Guests will be able to cancel their dining reservations online, however any new bookings or modifying must be done by calling Disney’s Reservation Line. The same cancellation policy is in effect — you must leave a card on file and cancel at least 24 hours before your reservation, or your card will be charged $10 per person.

At this time, only guests with confirmed resort reservations are able to book resort dining reservations from June 22nd to July 10th.
No updates have been announced as to when theme park dining reservations will return, or when the dining reservation period will be extended past July 10th.
We will keep you updated as more information is released! And make sure you’re following along next week as we report from Disney World as the resorts begin to reopen!

It seems you can only visit another resort if you have a dining or hotel reservation. Can you visit a counter service restaurant at a hotel different than yours during this time?
