Christmas time has arrived at Walt Disney World! From Park to Park and Resort to Resort, the halls have been decked and the trees have been trimmed!
We have already seen a sleigh full of holiday merchandise, too! And since the parks are so nicely decorated, we thought we’d chat about the BEST spots for your family to snap Christmas photos this year!
Magic Kingdom
Main Street U.S.A
Main Street U.S.A. is decorated so nicely for the holiday season. Here, you can snap a few pics in front of the massive tree.
Or you can stand right in the middle of Main Street U.S.A. so you can get a few shots of the garland and wreaths with Cinderella Castle in the background.
In Front of the Castle
Cinderella Castle has decked its halls for the holiday season and for entertainment offerings like a Frozen Holiday Wish. Taking pics with the castle at night gives you a stunning holiday-themed background.
In Front of Jingle Cruise
Jingle Cruise (the holiday-ified Jungle Cruise) is all decked out for the holidays! You and your fam can snap a fun and campy photo in front of the Jingle Cruise sign this holiday season.
Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom will be decorated throughout for the first time this holiday season! From the Tree of Life to Pandora — World of Avatar, you can find all-new decor.
So, snap a photo while dancing at Holiday Hoopla Dance Party in DinoLand U.S.A. or take a photo-worthy of a Christmas card in front of the new life-size puppets in Discovery Island.
Hollywood Studios
Echo Lake
Gertie is officially rocking the Santa Hat, the tree is up, and the ornaments are floating on Echo Lake. This makes for a stunning background for a family photo.
Sunset Boulevard
Sunset Boulevard is coming to life every night with Sunset Season Greetings. You can take a few fun and festive group photos while the Tower of Terror glows with holiday scenes. And if you wait until the perfect moment, you might even get a bit of snoap (Disney’s version of snow) in the background.
The Entrance to Toy Story Land
Toy Story Land has officially decked its halls for the holidays. Squeeze the family in for a photo with Woody as you take a photo entering the land!
Epcot
Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays will be making its way to Epcot on November 29th. This means that the park will be dripping with festive holiday decor.
Snap a photo at Epcot’s Entrance with the Festival of the Holidays sign with a glowing Spaceship Earth in the background.
Snag a photo with the holiday decor in each country and create a collage with them!
Disney Springs and Disney Resorts
Even Disney Springs has gotten into the holiday spirit, with a Christmas Tree Trail of photogenic backgrounds!
And the Resorts are jam-packed with fun photo ops, the most impressive of which is the Grand Floridian’s Gingerbread House.
No matter where you choose to take a photo around Walt Disney World this holiday season, it will likely be gorgeous as Disney has really gone all out with their decor!
