It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Walt Disney World — from Resorts to Parks to other planets (Pandora, you know!).
We’ve seen decorations in spots like Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, and now we’re stopping into a few Resorts to haul out some holly!
Yacht Club Resort
Over at the Yacht Club Resort, we spotted an ADORABLE Christmas Village that runs intermittently throughout the day!
The village features a snowy landscape with plenty of trees, lights, people, houses…
…and, most importantly, a TRAIN!
The Christmas Village Train passes by different town buildings and greenery decorated for the holiday season…
…Elsa, Anna, and Olaf hanging out at Oaken’s Trading Post and Elsa’s Ice Castle…
…mini candy stores with lots of holiday goodies…
…Mickey’s Village complete with Minnie’s Ice Cream Parlor…
…a hockey match next to a sign for Hurricane Hanna’s (maybe they’ll grab a quick bite after their game)…
…and finally pulls into the station to pick up the guest of honor, Santa Claus himself!
Art of Animation
Art of Animation is drawing up Christmas decorations all over the Resort as well!
The tree in the lobby is snowy white (and STUNNING) complete with lights and ornaments as colorful as the season itself! This is a returning piece, and we love it!
It’s also covered in sketches of different characters like Ariel…
…and Simba placed around the branches so guests can spot the artwork from their favorite movies!
However, if you step outside, you can spot themed garlands for the various sections of the resort! We’re ready to go under the sea with all the seashells we found in this one adjacent to the Big Blue Pool!
Pop Century Resort
If you’re looking to rock around the Christmas tree, Pop Century has got you covered! Their tall tree has record and music note ornaments to make guests want to get up and dance.
Also in the lobby, lit-up garlands hang on the walls…
…with miniature presents…
…and peace signs, too (groovy!).
The outside of the resort is even decorated with giant wreaths, bows, lights…
…mistletoe, and ornaments galore (say hello to the snowmen and elves!).
But the BEST thing we found at Pop is the Wish Tree in the gift shop!
All guests have to do is write down their Christmas wish, place it on the tree, and hope it comes true during the holidays!
What will you wish for this Christmas season?
