Well, the ‘Land is finally gearing up to start a NEW project that will make Disney Vacation Club members everywhere ecstatic!

According to the OC Register, Disneyland submitted an application to Anaheim late last week for a conceptual development review of a 350-room DVC Tower (!!!).

Although the AMC Theater, ESPN Zone, and Rainforest Cafe (RIP) are all still shuttered from the canceled hotel in Downtown Disney, the DVC Tower will move spots to be located next to the Disneyland Hotel.

The 12-story timeshare tower will be placed between Disneyland Hotel’s Frontier Tower and South Walnut Street, removing a laundry facility in the process. Although the construction won’t be finished before 2022, the 280,000 square-foot property will provide 550 construction jobs and over 100 timeshare options. The theme will resemble Disneyland Hotel’s 1955 decor, which we think will fit right into the park.

We can’t wait to see what the new DVC Tower will bring to the table, and we’ll keep updating as the project unfolds.
