If you have visited the Boardwalk you may be familiar with Ample Hills Creamery. The Creamery will be opening their second Disney World location in Disney Springs‘ West Side “soon”. The Creamery will offer their popular handcrafted ice cream and mix-ins such as brownie bites, oatmeal lace cookies, and butter pecan brittle similar to the offerings available at the Boardwalk‘s Ample Hills Creamery.

Whether grabbing a cup of coffee and your favorite pastry, or having a cocktail, lunch, or dinner with friends, it’s your neighborhood meeting place.”

A timeline or expected opening date was not announced for Beatrix, will keep you posted.

  1. The multitude of food choices at Disney Springs has changed my vacation strategy:

Mornings- start with a simple breakfast before heading to a park, water park, or pool. Mid morning snack from a kiosk or cart.

Mid-day: head to Disney Springs for either a quick serve or a sit-down meal.

Then head to another park til closing. Maybe dessert at a park or back to a Disney Springs for a dessert or night cap!

A few weeks ago, my wife and I had a relaxing lunch around 3 pm at Maria and Enzo’s- only a few other tables were full. Excellent and attentive service.

    1. Agreed. I plan one character meal, but every other meal is at Disney Springs. You can also use OpenTable for a lot of those restaurants and avoid the credit card hassle.
