PhotoPass Offering Festive Shots at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party starts tonight (November 8)! As with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween and Christmas parties in the past, this year’s Party will include the opportunity for you to take some fun and festive Magic Shots with the Disney PhotoPass photographers.

All of these Magic Shots are taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers. Sometimes you hold a physical prop, other times you imagine what you are holding or looking at, and when the photo is delivered to your My Disney Experience account the prop or character magically appears in your photo!

This year’s Party includes several new Magic Shot photo ops around the park.

Fans of Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade will want to be sure to get this Magic Shot in front of the Train Station. The gingerbread men and reindeer from the parade will pop into your picture!

When you get photos along Main Street, U.S.A. an animated shot (a short video) will be added to your account that includes the Toy Soldiers marching in your photo!

If you’re all about the sweet treats at Christmas you’ll want to have these Magic Shots! The festive Mickey cookie shot will be available in Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. If you want a photo of yourself “lifting” a mighty candy cane, look for photographers in front of Cinderella Castle and on the bridges leading to Liberty Square, Tomorrowland, and Fantasyland.

Want a photo of you and your special someone under the mistletoe? You can get this shot with any PhotoPass photographer in the park (except for those at Character Experience locations).

Tinker Bell dressed in her holiday best will sprinkle some pixie dust on shots taken on Main Street, U.S.A.

Speaking of characters, Olaf will “join” you in an animated version of photos taken on the bridges leading to Liberty Square, Tomorrowland, and Fantasyland.

If you want real props in your photos you’ll find photographers with signs around the park during the Party. A photo with the new prop, a lamp with a Tinker Bell silhouette, can be taken in Fantasyland near Enchanted Tales with Belle.

If you or your kids visit Santa in the park, animated shots will be included along with your photos of the visit.
