Test Track Epcot Update

Epcot’s Test Track is entering final stages of a major rehab.

The revamped attraction will allow you to design your own custom concept vehicle, and then put it through its paces on the hills and switchbacks of the Test Track circuit. In the post-show, you’ll be able to make a TV commercial featuring your concept car or truck. You’ll also have the chance to race your car or truck on a virtual track and take a picture with your custom concept vehicle.

New images of the “SimCar” have been released and a model can now be viewed outside the attraction at the nearby Cool Wash Station in Epcot.

When Test Track reopens later this fall, the attraction will allow guests to experience the fun and fascinating world of automotive design firsthand. Guests will first enter a Design Studio and make a series of selections (as an individual or a group) to create their ideal custom concept vehicle – they can even pick the color. Guests then board a six-passenger SimCar for a test drive, and see how their design compares to the SimCar in Capability, Efficiency, Responsiveness and Power.
