Bluey has arrived at Disney World. I repeat — Bluey has arrived at Disney World!

We’ve been waiting for this for a while now, and Bluey and Bingo have made their home in Animal Kingdom at Bluey’s Wild World. To help deal with the crowds, a virtual queue system is being used to limit the number of people coming to the shows at once. Well, even with the virtual queue, there’s something you need to know before you head to Conservation Station.
There are two virtual queue drops: one at 7 AM and one at 10 AM. For the 7 AM one, you can be outside the parks, but for the 10 AM one, you need to be scanned into Animal Kingdom. Once your boarding group is called, you’ll want to head to the Wildlife Express to get to Conservation Station — well, wait.

You’ll actually want to be on the train BEFORE your Virtual Queue group is called, or very close to when it starts. Why? You don’t scan into your Virtual Queue until you’re at the doors for the Conservation Station, where the shows are being held. That means if you wait till the end of your boarding group call to climb on the train, you might miss your group!

The train takes a little bit to board and ride over, so at minimum, we would give yourself 20 minutes, but we really recommend close to 30 minutes to make sure. If you’re not careful and you wait till the end of your window, you could miss the experience, and while it’s so busy, there won’t be another chance to join.

Before you scan into the show, you can check out the new animals at Jumping Junction, which is now home to special animals from Bluey’s home country, Australia. We saw kangaroos and wallabies. Right now, the animals are pretty far back, but a Cast Member told us that as they get more comfortable, guests will be able to walk closer to the animals.

So if you don’t want to miss your chance to see Bluey, make sure you’re near the Wildlife Express as you see your group number getting closer to being called. While you don’t need to be there too early, you’ll want to be close to the area and not stuck in line somewhere else. You can check on which boarding group is being called on your My Disney Experience app to see how close you are to being called.
