NEW Animals Have Arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Today is the day, and we could NOT be more thrilled!

Quincy ready to play with Bluey

Back in late February, Rafiki’s Planet Watch closed in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to make way for a permanent new addition coming to the park. Bluey’s Wild World is already a big hit, but now we’re checking out Jumping Junction.

Bluey’s Wild World is partly located at the Conservation Station, the former Rafiki’s Planet Watch area of the park, and it requires a ride on the Wildlife Express. Inside the Conservation Station building, you’ll be able to meet Bluey and Bingo, as well as play games from the show with them.

Bluey is pretty good at these games!

Outside, though? Jumping Junction is the zoo area of this section of the park! Here, you can meet native animals of Australia, Bluey’s home country. We got to see kangaroos and wallabies.

Come on up!

When talking to a Cast Member, they said the animals are still getting used to being around people, so they’re pretty far back, but once they’re more comfortable, guests should be able to get closer.

They’re pretty far back right now

Previously, it was a petting zoo, so we’re hoping we’ll be able to pet them eventually.

You can see them all the way back there!

Hi there!

There was also a section to buy some Bluey souvenirs (and obviously, we’re going to need them all!).

We’re so happy to be able to check out the animal and hang out in Animal Kingdom!

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all the latest Disney World news, so stay tuned to AllEars!
