Heroes, suit up! We’re jumping into action, kicking it into gear, and reporting LIVE at Port Canaveral in Florida! After spending years under construction, the Disney Destiny is nearly complete — and it just arrived at Port Canaveral in Florida!

Now, this won’t be the ship’s final home, as her port instead will be over in Fort Lauderdale, but to celebrate the ship’s near completion (and only being a few weeks away from her November 20th, 2025 maiden voyage), there’s a special event taking place at Port Canaveral tonight, and we got to be there, front and center!
Behold, the Disney Destiny!

This ship has officially made it to Florida!

We even got the chance to hear the NEW horn tunes — recognize that song?! A new “Cruella de Vil” tune also debuted during the event.

The Disney Destiny is the first Disney Cruise Line ship of its kind, as it’s all inspired by Disney Heroes and Villains!

You’ll find character meet-and-greets all over the ship, while taking in the decor and design that showcases the battle between good and evil. Here, for example, is a peek at the concept art for Edna Á La Mode Sweets! This will be a brand-new confectionery on the Disney Destiny. Edna Mode’s sewing equipment will be repurposed into devices that make sweet treats, and the menu will be filled with favorites like gelato, ice cream, cookies, candies, and specialty treats.

Additionally, you can explore NEW themed dining experiences, lounges, and entertainment throughout the ship. We cannot WAIT to check out the Lion King-inspired restaurant. As Scar says, “Be prepared!”

Here is a little sneak peek at the drink you can enjoy at De Vil’s — a piano lounge that will debut on the Disney Destiny. It’s the first of its kind, meaning you won’t find it on any existing Disney cruise ship. It’s a whole lounge dedicated to the puppy-obsessed from 101 Dalmatians!

At the beginning of her sailings, the Disney Destiny will offer 4 and 5-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, which will also include stops at one or both of Disney’s private island locations — Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Then, from Summer 2026 and into 2027, the ship will offer 3 to 7-night cruises to The Bahamas, as well as the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

This will be the seventh ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. There are even MORE ships on the way, including the Disney Adventure, which will have a home port in Singapore!
