Disney World CONFIRMS a Popular Hotel Addition Is Returning — This Is the BEST Holiday News We've Heard This Year

Yes, it’s April, but it’s never too early to start looking forward to the holiday season, especially if you’ll be spending time in Disney World during the holidays.

Disney World goes all out for the holidays with the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, the Christmas Tree Stroll in Disney Springs, and decorations at Disney World hotels. Another popular Disney World holiday tradition is the gingerbread displays at several hotels, and Disney has confirmed they will be returning at MOST hotels this year.

As we previously reported, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will NOT have a gingerbread display this year due to ongoing construction in the hotel’s lobby. However, we spoke with a Cast Member who confirmed that the gingerbread displays will still return to other Disney World hotels.

Yes, we’ll miss the giant gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian, but you should still get to see the gingerbread display at places like Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. Disney hasn’t confirmed the full list of hotels participating this year, but at least we know they’ll be back!

The displays also feature pop-up shops with loads of holiday treats, so there’s something extra to look forward to as well.

You will also be able to see holiday decor at the hotels, although we don’t yet have confirmation on whether that will be the case at the Grand Floridian, with the lobby being under construction. The tree at the Grand Floridian is one of our favorites, but there’s a chance we may not get to see it this year.
