UPDATE on Paradise Pier Hotel Re-Theme in Disneyland

Disney announced previously that the Paradise Pier Hotel will be re-themed to become all about Pixar! Now we know even more about this change.

We previously got to see some concept art for the re-theme, which will bring several Pixar stories together for the new design. Find out what the hotel’s new NAME will be here!

At the 2022 D23 Expo, Disney’s Chairman of Parks, Experiences, and Products, Josh D’Amaro, announced that the re-themed hotel will be called Pixar Place Hotel.

Disney previously said that “the reimagining of the hotel will weave the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting. Guests will gain a new perspective on some of their favorite Pixar worlds and characters through carefully curated artwork, and décor that reveals the creative journey of the artists who helped bring these stories to life.”

In their announcement today, Disney said, “Progress is continuing on the reimagining of the Paradise Pier Hotel to Pixar Place Hotel.” They said that the hotel will become “a place where you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into a Pixar art gallery featuring new interpretations of favorite Pixar pals.”

Disney also mentioned that local favorite Great Maple will open a flagship restaurant and operate the other food and beverage locations around the hotel.

The new concept art showed part of the pool and splashpad area that will be coming to the hotel as well. We can’t wait to see more of this hotel’s re-theme. We’ll let you know as soon as Disney reveals new updates, so stay tuned to AllEars!
