Disney World FINALLY Made It Easier to Carry a Bulky Souvenir Around the Parks!

Sure, those movie-accurate Star Wars lightsabers and that purple banshee toy are cool and all, but who’s going to carry that stuff around all day? In the past, Disney offered a package pickup service that allowed guests to pick up their merchandise at the front of the park or at their hotel, but that service has been unavailable since the parks reopened in 2020.

If you’ve had your eyes on a special souvenir in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we have some good news! Now, if only merchandise deliveries would return…maybe someday.

Over in the Windtraders gift shop in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Rookery is home to a batch of banshees just waiting to be adopted. These banshees are puppet-like toys that use a special remote to move and make noise — they’re a super unique souvenir!

These make such a fun souvenir!

Although package pickup is currently unavailable in Disney World, Cast Members at Windtraders informed us that if you purchase a Banshee, they will hold it for you until 7:30PM. That way, you can have some fun in the park and then come pick up your new friend at the end of the day! Keep in mind that you can also have your Disney merchandise delivered to your home for an additional shipping fee.
