We’re super excited to announce that Trail’s End has reopened at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort in Disney World!

Of course we went to grab dinner there as soon as we could! Here’s a look at what the new family-style dinner looks like!

Rather than the old buffet dinner, Trail’s End is serving up a family-style menu now! It costs $29.99 per adult and $17.99 for each child. The family-style dinner comes with a Bread Basket with Goat Cheese Chive Biscuits, Hushpuppies, and Skillet Cornbread with Pimento Spread and Honey Butter

Plus, boozy beverages are available on the menu, so we went with the Gullywhumper Cocktail mixed with Ole Smoky White Lightnin’ Moonshine and Peach Schnapps with Pineapple and Cranberry Juices for $14 to pair with our meal!

Well, that was one hefty meal! Although Fort Wilderness might be a bit of a trek, the family-style option might be a great dinner for the tastes of everyone in your party! And, you can stay tuned with AllEars for more updates on Disney World restaurants around the parks!

  1. Oh this looks so disappointing compared to what it was previously. We have officially lost one of the most fun/best meals on property. We will not go out of our way to visit this place for a meal again. So very very disappointed. Lack of choice, higher price,And “add-ons”? Really? wow…..all combine to make this just another overpriced lackluster meal option.

  2. The last bastion of old Disney is at Fort Wilderness but its been rapidly chipped away. Trail’s End was a great buffet and practically a secret expect those staying at the campground. But as with everything else at WDW, there’s a need to maximize every cent for shareholders, so I’m actually surprised Trail’s End lasted that long as a reasonably priced buffet. This is from someone that’s been eating there since 1997.

  3. What they were famous for and the main reason we we visit trails end on each Disney visit was the fried chicken and the ribs and shrimp was also included, sorry you lost us as a customer with this terrible new plan, but then again its following a pattern Disney is following with paying more and getting less in return.

    1. I saw on another dining review of Trails End you can request the fried chicken at no extra charge. The shrimp and ribs are extra.

  4. I will really miss this all you can eat setup, especially for breakfast as this was always a tradition when we visited WDW. Do you know if any of the items are refillable. For example if you wanted additional rolls or muffins, or salad, etc.
