Disney Channel Will Premiere THREE Christmas Specials This December!

The weather is getting colder and the holiday decorations are going up!

It’s time to snuggle up with a good Christmas movie and a warm drink. Thankfully, Disney is doling out all sorts of new holiday entertainment for us to enjoy. Coming soon on Disney+, you can tune into the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special and the High School Musical: the Musical: the Holiday Special. The Disney Channel is also creating some Christmas cheer with THREE new specials!

Disney Holiday Magic Quest will be virtually hosted by Raven Symoné and feature ZOMBIES 2 stars Milo Manheim, Kylee Russell, Ariel Martin, and Pearce Joza. The three will navigate a series of challenges and obstacles through the Magic Kingdom, including the Haunted Mansion and Cinderella Castle, “in an attempt to restore the holiday magic that was stolen by famed Disney villains Maleficent and Evil Queen.” The special will premiere on DisneyNOW on December 4th at 8PM EST/PST. Proceeds from the special will be donated to Toys for Tots.

Challenge Accepted! Disney Channel’s Epic Holiday Showdown will premiere on December 6th at 7PM EST/PST. This special is focused on Santa and Mrs. Claus played by Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turne. The two enlist Disney Channel stars to take on a series of holiday-themed challenges to lift Ebenezer Scrooges curse on Christmas. ZOMBIES 2 star Meg Donnelly will also perform with the band Now United.

Lastly, Disney Channel Holiday House Party will be a virtual event featuring Disney Channel stars remotely from their homes. The sketch comedy will be made of an ensemble of comedic actors who will perform a “variety of wacky characters and hilarious sketches, including a Gen Z influencer take on a Charles Dickens classic, a Disney Wand ID fail, and a High School Musical throwback. “This special will premiere on December 11th at 8PM PST/EST.

That’s not all! Disney Channel also announced a new Christmas movie is under production and will debut in 2021. Loads of holiday cheer are coming to a screen near you!
