PHOTOS: Give Kids the World’s Night of A Million Lights Event Might Be Your Go-To Holiday Experience of the Season!

Give Kids The World is a non-profit organization based in Kissimmee, Florida. The famous charity provides critically ill children and their families a chance to visit Orlando theme parks at no cost to them.

Give Kids the World

The Give Kids The World Village has been transformed into Night of a Million Lights, a 89-acre walk-through spectacle featuring millions of Christmas lights (some even donated by Walt Disney World)!

The village temporarily closed in mid-March due to the global health crisis and delayed nearly 6,000 wishes for children. The proceeds from this holiday event will go towards future wishes once the village reopens. We were invited to check out the displays and holiday entertainment for the charity event!

Night of a Million Lights

The event officially begins on November 13th and continues through January 3rd. The village is usually closed to visitors and this walk-through gives guests a rare look at the non-profit resort. The nightly event runs from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, with staggered entry times to prevent crowding. Masks are required for all guests.

While we were there, Jodi Benson (the voice of Ariel) helped kick off the event and ring in the holiday season! Plus, Mayor Clayton the Rabbit, Ms. Merry, and a glowing stilt walker were walking around to greet guests.
