The final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker dropped earlier this week. It got me in the mood to look through some of my Disney’s Hollywood Studios photos from the saga. I also subscribe to a few photography newsletters and it seems every month there are articles about how to get sharp photos. This leads me to believe many people are having trouble getting them.

I have mentioned how to get sharp image here on lots of occasions and will share some past articles below. First, the best way to get sharp images is to use a fast shutter speed. During the day in Walt Disney World, this is very easy to do with Florida’s bright Sun shining down.
In the case of Captain Phasma and the Stormtrooper above, I used a shutter speed of 1/250th of a second to freeze the walking First Order troops. To avoid dark shadows, I used Fill Flash which also helps to freeze their movements. The result are very sharp images.
