Disneyland released the next video in their “Know Before You Go” Series in advance of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Today, Disneyland shared information and tips on parking when you visit during the opening weeks of the new land.
The new Pixar Pals parking garage will be opening soon, but will not be open when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens. The Mickey & Friends and Toy Story garages will be the two primary guest parking lots.
The first tip shared is since there is a reservation system from May 31 – June 23 guests do not need to arrive early. There will not be any lining up to enter the land, so there is no need to arrive prior to your reservation time.
The parking lots will open at 12:00 am on May 31, 2019, opening day. From June 1 onward the parking lots will open no later than 5:30 am. Guests are encouraged to not arrive prior to the parking lot opening hours. You will not be allowed to wait on Anaheim’s city streets for the lots to open.
If you plan to take Lyft or Uber, it will be easier for them to drop you off at Downtown Disney, not at a park entrance.
If you are staying at an Anaheim area resort or hotel (a non-Disneyland Resort hotel) you are encouraged to walk from your hotel or use their shuttle service if available.
