NEWS: Disney World Is Finally Renovating Its Iconic Treehouse Villas

It’s refurbishment season at Disney World hotels, and another one has officially been added to the list.

While it may seem like a burden at first, it ultimately means Disney is hard at work ensuring its hotels are in tip-top shape for your next stay! Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort will be undergoing refurbishment starting this month, and we’ve got all the details you need to know.

Refurbishment work will take place in phases at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa through mid-September 2026, including refurbishment of the Treehouse Villas. If you’re staying here, you may see or hear construction activity during daytime hours.

Not only that, but beginning on March 23rd, the tennis courts at Disney’s Saratoga Springs will be closed for refurbishment and are expected to reopen in June. During this time, the basketball court will also be closed.

This refurbishment of the Treehouse Villas lines up with previous permits we saw back in December 2025. Several permits were filed for the Treehouses with an expiration date of January 2027.

This is a pretty typical timeline for Disney World refurbishment projects, but the real hint as to what’s to come is in the listing that the Grantee is Land-Ron. Land-Ron is a hotel refurbishment company that’s known for completing luxury work, which certainly lines up with what these treehouses offer.

It’s unclear what exactly Disney is refurbishing at the Treehouses — whether it’s an interior refurb, exterior refurb, or perhaps even both.
