Staying at a Disney World hotel has lots of perks, but those perks increase tenfold when you stay at a Disney World Deluxe Hotel.

While all Disney World hotels get you complimentary transportation to and from the theme parks, as well as free park parking if you choose to drive your own car, you also get Early Entry into all four theme parks each day, allowing you 30 minutes of extra park time in the morning. One of the biggest perks of staying at a Deluxe Resort, though, is that you also get Extended Evening Hours, and that perk returns at Magic Kingdom soon!
Extended Evening Hours are only offered on select days for certain parks. It allows guests staying at Deluxe Hotels an extra two hours of park time at the end of the regular park day.

For Magic Kingdom, these have been absent for quite some time, but the offering is finally returning on August 13th! As it currently stands, the Extended Evening Hours schedule for all four parks in August is:
- August 11th: EPCOT 9-11 PM
- August 13th: Magic Kingdom 11 PM to 1 AM (!!!)
- August 18th: EPCOT 9-11 PM
- August 20th: Animal Kingdom 6-8 PM
- August 29th: Disney’s Hollywood Studios 9:30-11:30 PM

While all of the Disney World Deluxe hotels have this perk, there are a few additional hotels that also participate in Extended Evening Hours. If you’re staying at one of these resorts, know that these extra hours are open to you!
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

- Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village
- Disney’s Beach Club Villas
- Disney’s BoardWalk Villas
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort
- Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
- Disney’s Riviera Resort

- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
- The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort – A Disney Vacation Club Resort (The extended evening theme park hours benefit applies to Disney Vacation Club Cabins only)
- The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
- Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
- Walt Disney World Swan Reserve
- Shades of Green

Additionally, you must have a valid ticket to the park you’re looking to visit to participate in Extended Evening Hours. Guests who do not have an Annual Pass or admission ticket with Park Hopping privileges must have a Disney Park Pass for the park where they will be participating in Extended Evening Hours. Guests with an Annual Pass or a Park Hopper Pass do not need a Disney Park Pass reservation for the Extended Evening Hours Park. However, they do need to check into one of the four parks with a Park Pass Reservation before heading to Extended Evening Hours.
