You knew it could be expensive to visit Magic Kingdom, but you probably didn’t know it could be THIS expensive.

When you add up the cost of tickets, food, souvenirs, special experiences, and more, you could be looking at a hefty bill, even if you’re just visiting the park for one day. But what if you wanted to visit Magic Kingdom for one perfect day? Well, we tallied up the cost to have the ultimate day in the park!
Tickets
Starting out our expenses for the day, we’ve got to get tickets! For the purposes of this article, we’ll make up a fictional family with two adults and two children, ages 6 and 8.

An average-priced day for Magic Kingdom is $184 per adult and $179 per child for a one-day, one-park ticket. That means that with tax included, the average ticket total for the family of four is $773.20.
Breakfast
After we’ve bought tickets, it’s time to plan the meals! For breakfast, we love dining at Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends. (They have churro waffles on the buffet!) The meal here is $52 per adult and $33 per child, plus tax and gratuity.

So for the family of four, the total for a buffet character meal would be $170 before tax and gratuity.
Lunch
Moving on to lunch, we’ve got to fit one casual meal into our day (considering all the other meals are sit-down). Of course, our meal of choice is corn dog nuggets at Casey’s Corner!

To get three orders of corn dog nuggets, two fountain beverages, and three cups of cheese sauce (for delicious dipping), the total would be $47.15 pre-tax. This is much more affordable than the other meals, but just as delicious!
Dinner
At dinnertime, we’d like to fit in the ultimate Magic Kingdom dining experience — Cinderella’s Royal Table. The dinner meal here isn’t cheap. For the family of four, it’s $88 per adult and $52 per child.

This means that the total pre-tax for the meal would be $280. With the experience, you get to meet the princesses and enjoy a three-course meal!
Dessert Party
And to wrap up the night, we’re planning a visit to the Happily Ever After Dessert Party! The Seats & Sweets version is the most expensive dessert party ticket, allowing you to watch the Happily Ever After fireworks from your own dedicated table at Tomorrowland Terrace.

For four people to do this offering on its cheapest nights, the total cost would be $388.
Lightning Lanes
And a perfect day wouldn’t be complete without the ability to skip the lines! Lightning Lane Premier Pass gives you access to every Lightning Lane in the park once per day.

On an average day, this service costs $379 per person in Magic Kingdom, so the total would be $1516.
Souvenirs
Last but not least, we’ve got souvenirs! For this, we’re budgeting $80 per person, or $320 total to spend in the gift shops.

$80 is about the cost of a Loungefly backpack or a Spirit Jersey. Or, you could snag two pairs of Minnie ears.
Total Cost
So, adding all those numbers together, we end up with a total of $3494.35. That’s one pricey day in Magic Kingdom! But hopefully, after spending all that cash, you’d have a truly memorable visit.
Remember, these aren’t all necessities. This is if you’re really wanting to go hard and have the ultimate experience day in Magic Kingdom!

Of course, you definitely don’t have to spend that much money to have the best day ever — you can have a great time in Magic Kingdom on any budget if you plan your day right.
