NEWS: A Popular Disney World Character Meet and Greet Is CHANGING

Boys and girls of every age, wouldn’t you like to see something strange?

This is Halloween, everybody make a scene

If you sang that line as you read it, then this is going to be BIG news for you! Disney has just released a huge change to a very popular character meet and greet experience, and we are over the moon (or, in this case, howling at the moon) about it. Here’s the latest scoop!

Hold on to your candy buckets and jack-o’-lanterns—Disney just dropped a spooky surprise that’s got Halloween fans buzzing. This year at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the Pumpkin King himself is debuting a brand-new look! Jack Skellington has gotten a frightfully fresh makeover, and Disney gave us a sneak peek with a video reveal on X.

What’s this, what’s this? Honestly, it looks like another reason why we HAVE to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Jack is looking like he’s jumped straight out of the film with a fully articulated head.

This new design replaces the previous half-mask, offering a more accurate and expressive representation of Jack’s iconic features from the film. This new look allows for incredible mouth movements,  bringing Jack to life like never before!

Jack and Sally previous looks

But that’s not all! The lovable Sally has also received a subtle makeover herself! Her refreshed appearance includes the removal of the blue circles around her eyes and a shift from bright red lipstick to a darker lip with black liner, staying true to her stitched-up charm. We love a spooky glowup!

New looks revealed for Jack and Sally!

Guests attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will have the chance to meet the newly redesigned Jack and Sally during party hours. This meet-and-greet is among the many special experiences offered during the event, which takes place during the Halloween season at the Magic Kingdom.

55 minutes

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on select nights from August 15 through October 31, 2025. Tickets are now on sale starting May 15 for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests and May 22 for all other guests.
