REMINDER: A Major Change Hits 2 Disney World Parks Soon

We are here to remind you of a big change coming to this Disney World hotel perk NEXT week! Extended Evening Hours are a popular hotel perk, and for good reason.

Two extra hours in a Disney World park after the park closes for regular guests? Talk about a great night. However, a change is happening to this perk next week that you need to know about.

On May 5th, Extended Evening Hours will be offered at Disney’s Animal Kingdom instead of EPCOT. Extended Evening Hours are available for guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts and other select hotels. This perk allows eligible guests to enjoy the park for two hours after the park closes with lower crowds.

The Extended Evening Hours will be from 8 PM until 10 PM on May 5th at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The park closes for regular guests at 8 PM, and then guests eligible for Extended Evening Hours can remain in the park for an additional two hours.

Extended Evening Hours are a wonderful perk to take advantage of if you are staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort or other select hotels. You can pack a lot into those two hours when there are fewer crowds in the park. As well, having Extended Evening Hours at Animal Kingdom is not as common, so definitely take advantage if you are in Disney World during this time. Remember that you will still need valid admission into Animal Kingdom to take advantage of Extended Evening Hours.

Currently, May 5th is the only date announced for Extended Evening Hours at Animal Kingdom. Normally, you will see Extended Evening Hours at EPCOT most Mondays and at Magic Kingdom most Wednesdays. However, we will be sure to keep you updated of any changes to Extended Evening Hours. Also, be sure to check the park hours for up-to-date information on Extended Evening Hours.
