Disney World Announces Hotel Restaurant CLOSURE for May 2025

Sometimes Disney World attractions and experiences need to close for a short amount of time to make sure all continues to run smoothly.

Sometimes this is a ride getting some much-needed TLC, and other times it’s a show or restaurant getting new seating or flooring. Regardless, being without one of your favorites for any period of time can stink, especially if it falls on your vacation and you won’t be back for a while, but that’s why we keep you updated on all the latest news. This is why you need to know that if you’re a fan of Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge, you won’t be able to experience it for a short time in May.

Whispering Canyon Cafe is a table service restaurant located inside Wilderness Lodge and is known for being a fun, lively restaurant full of interesting antics and plenty of jokes from the Cast Members around.

It certainly isn’t a quiet restaurant, so we don’t recommend heading here if you’re looking for a peaceful meal, but if you’re looking for some fun, this is a great choice.

The Disney World website lists that this restaurant will be closed from May 12th through May 21st, 2025 for refurbishment. During this time, guests can dine at the other restaurants at the hotel, such as Territory Lounge, Roaring Fork, Geyser Point Bar and Grill, and Story Book Dining at Artist Point.
