FULL REVIEW: We Tried EVERY Food Booth at the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Arts!

EPCOT’s first festival of 2025 has officially kicked off!

EPCOT Festival of the Arts

The Festival of the Arts runs in the park from January 17th to February 24th, 2025 and as usual, there’s a lot going on. While we’re huge fans of the entertainment and activities at this festival, the food is an obvious highlight. So let’s get into some food reviews, shall we?

The Artist’s Table — 4/5

The Artist’s Table

We were super surprised by the items at the booth this year! To start off, we grabbed the Deviled Eggs Trio for $6.25. If you are a deviled egg lover, you need to add this dish to your must-buy list. The trio comes with three styles of deviled eggs: Pimento Cheese, Green Goddess, and BLT. Each and every flavor was fantastic and there was so much flavor packed into one little deviled egg!

Deviled Egg Trio

Next, we tried the Chicken “Pot Pie” for $6.75. This dish is essentially an open-faced chicken pot pie and it way exceeded our expectations. The chicken was seasoned well and you could taste all the flavors that are usually in a chicken pot pie. It was loaded up with toppings and the crust on the bottom was flaky and buttery. We anticipate we will be back soon for another one of these!

Chicken Pot Pie

For dessert, we got the Hummingbird Cake for $5. We have really enjoyed the Hummingbird Cake at past festivals, but this year the cake is served deconstructed which is different than before. Overall, we weren’t as impressed with this cake and felt like the flavors just didn’t work together very well. The cake itself was dense, but we didn’t taste much cream cheese, pecan, or banana flavor. Most of the flavor came from the pineapple compote and caramel that was on the side. We enjoyed the caramel, but the pineapple compote was a bit too overpowering.

Hummingbird Cake

You can also grab beers and a wine at this booth. You can grab a Beer Flight for $10.25 which includes three beers: Wicked Weed Brewing Pineapple Daydream IPA, Swamp Head Brewery Neon Palette Lager, and the Lost Coast Brewery Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout. We have previously tried the Wicked Weed Pineapple Daydream IPA and thought it was full of hoppy flavor. It also had notes of pineapple and we loved how fizzy it was. We have also tried the Lost Coast Brewery Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout previously and really enjoyed it. We thought it tasted like a peanut butter cookie in beer form!

Beer Flight (2024)

Finally, you can also get the J Vineyards & Winery Pinot Gris for $6.50 at The Artist’s Table.

The Craftsman’s Courtyard — 4/5

Craftsman’s Courtyard

Over at the Craftsman’s Courtyard, you’ll find some rich and hearty dishes. Most of the items are familiar returning classics, but we do spot a new dish on the menu that we can’t wait to check out! First, we tried the Beef Wellington-inspired Croissant Supreme for $8.50. This dish is new for 2025 and is made with creamed spinach croissant pinwheel, mushroom-gorgonzola ragout, mustard-grilled flank steak, red wine sauce, and pickled mustard seeds.

Beef Wellington-inspired Croissant Surpeme

We LOVED this dish. Don’t be disappointed by the appearance; we know it’s not a “typical” Beef Wellington. This croissant-y dish was amazing. The meat was salty, savory, and cooked to perfection, while the spinach-filled croissant was buttery light.

Next, we tried a returning snack, the Cast Iron-roasted P.E.I. Mussels for $8.

Cast Iron-roasted P.E.I. Mussels

The seafood was fresh and tasty, the tomatoes were bright and salty, and the toast was charred to perfection. The bread was cooked so it was crunchy without being burnt. If you’re a mussels fan, you’ll enjoy this dish!

Up next is another returning dish — the Roasted Bone Marrow for $10.75.

Roasted Bone Marrow

Overall, this was a pretty good meal, but we have a few notes. The dish is a bit greasy, which is to be expected but still worth a warning. Additionaly, the onion marmalade was a little overpowering. This wasn’t bad, but it also was not our favorite dish at this booth.

Time for a drink! We got the Coffee Old Fashioned Cocktail for $11.50.

Coffee Old Fashioned Cocktail

This was a win! We love that there’s a hint of deeper whiskey that blends with the coffee. It creates a nice smokey flavor with a pleasant lingering taste. We think this one could be a crowd-pleaser.

Overall, Craftsman’s Courtyard has some great foods, especially the Beef Wellington Croissant Supreme (which may be one the best things we tried at the Festival) and the Roasted Mussels.

Deco Delights — 3/5

Quincy

This booth is a classic for Festival of the Arts experts! First up, we grabbed Almond Frangipane Cake for $5. This dish is layered with raspberry jam and Belgian chocolate, and looks like a Mondrian work of art! Be warned! The cake has a LOT of raspberry filling in it — it’s practically overwhelming. The flavor is sweet and strong, with that signature tartness from the raspberries. The chocolate was a much-needed addition –we loved the icing! Appearance-wise, this is a stunning piece of cake. Was it the best slice we’ve ever had? Probably not. But it’s sweet, fun, and PRETTY!

Almond Frangipane Cake

If you want a drink, you can grab a beer flight with three new beers for this year’s festival. The beer options include 3 Daughters Brewing Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Beer, Keel Farms Strawberry Shortcake Hard Cider, and Left Hand Brewing Company Milk Stout with Coconut. You can grab them ALL in a flight for $10.25, or you can buy each one as an individual pour for $5.75 or $9.75, depending on the size.

Finally, we got the returning Boyd & Blair Espresso Martini for $12! This one is literally just espresso and vodka, so both flavors are VERY prominent and strong. That said, we thought the flavors were well-balanced, and this is a great little cocktail. While it’s not the best Espresso Martini in Disney World, it’s a nice option if you love that rich espresso flavor.

Espresso Martini

The Deconstructed Dish — 4/5

Deconstructed Dish booth

The Deconstructed BLT at this booth is made with pork belly, soft poached egg, onion bread pudding, watercress espuma, and tomato jam for $7.25. It’s been a hit for us at past festivals and this year is no different! The pork belly was both fatty and tender and there was a good amount of meat while the soft poached egg was gooey and jammy. The onion bread pudding is a winner and we couldn’t get enough.

Deconstructed BLT

The Deconstructed Key Lime Pie is $6.50 and it’s made with flexible key lime curd, “Key Lime” mousse, graham cracker cake, and meringues. This really is just like a key lime pie! You’ve got the key lime tart, the meringue, and the graham cracker crumbles that tie everything together.

Deconstructed Key Lime Pie

For drinks at this booth, we grabbed the Deconstructed Strawberry Mint Julep. This is frozen mint and simple syrup blended with strawberry purée for $4.75, or you can get it with Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon for $12. The strawberry tasted fresh and not artificial, while the mint was refreshing as well. This would make a great mocktail or cocktail!

Deconstructed Strawberry Mint Julep

El Artista Hambriento — 5/5

The full spread!

We’ll just tell you now that El Artista Hambriento knocked it out of the park. The Carne Asada for $10.75 is a returning item, but the ingredients have changed a bit. It’s now made with  Chipotle-marinated beef sirloin with pasilla chile sauce, grilled queso fresco, Nopales salad, and chicharron dust. This is SUCH a unique and wonderful dish. The steak is cooked perfectly and we loved the grilled queso fresco underneath it. The crunchy chicharron dust added a nice bit of flavor.

Carne Asada

The Croqueta for $8 is made with Chipotle chicken and chorizo croquette in chipotle salsa with chipotle aioli, avocado mousse, and truffle oil. It’s got a nice crunchy outside, but inside it was soft and moist. The salsa was spicy, though, and although we liked it, you might want to consider that if you’re averse to spicy foods.

Croqueta

The dessert item here is the Natilla de Maiz for $6.50. So it might not seem like dessert as it’s basically a flan made with cajeta. It’s like a really lovely flan and we enjoyed it. It also has a really nice presentation with the popcorn on top.

We love the presentation…but it tastes good too!

For drinks, we started with the Floridita for $16.50 made with Centinela Blanco Tequila, citrus juice, orange liqueur, and grapefruit soda with a hint of Aperol. Normally, that Aperol flavor can overwhelm a drink, but the orange liqueur balances it out with this cocktail. It’s a nice refreshing drink for a hot day in Florida.

Floridita

We also tried the Strawberry Fields Margarita for $15.50 made with Tromba Blanco Tequila, Dos Hombres Mezcal, strawberry purée, and blackcurrant liqueur. If you don’t like Mezcal, this probably isn’t for you, but we thought the Mezcal added a nice smokiness to the sweet strawberry puree.

Strawberry Fields Margarita

Figment’s Inspiration Station — 3/5

Figment’s Inspiration Station

To kick things off, we grabbed the new item at this location, the Raspberry Pastry Tart for $5.25. This is a sugar cookie with raspberry and lemon cream cheese filling and it sounds a lot like the blueberry one we had at this booth last year. It’s a bit on the crumbly side, but you immediately get a burst of that raspberry flavor as soon as you bite in. The lemon cream cheese helps add a creaminess that pairs really well with the raspberry, which just goes so well with lemon.

Raspberry Tart

Next up, we tried the returning Rainbow Cake with Freeze Dried Skittles for $5.25. Last year, the cake was served in a tall chunk, but this year it’s a flat slice topped with Skittles. The Skittles are a super fun addition we think kids will love, but we wish this cake was more than just vanilla-dyed pretty colors!

Rainbow Cake

To drink, we grabbed the new Figment Imagination Lemonade for $5. This is a regular lemonade but you can get it with lots of different flavor combinations! You can also choose between multiple cup colors, and the cup comes with its own straw! We chose toasted marshmallow because it sounded interesting and it made the lemonade taste kind of like a lemon pastry!

Lemonade

The Cider Flight at this booth includes 3 Daughters Brewing Black Cherry Hard Cider, Blood Orange Hard Cider, and Pineapple Hard Cider. You can get the Flight for $10.25 or you can get individual pours for $5.75/6oz and $9.75/12oz. Last year, the Black Cherry Hard Cider tasted just like cherries, and the Blood Orange Cider was super refreshing.

Beer Flight (2024)

The Beer Flight comes with 81Bay Brewing Co. Green with Envy Blonde, Blue Butterfly Lager, and Make All Things Purple Ale (NEW this year!). You can get the Flight for $10.25, or you can individual pours for $5.75/6oz and $9.75/12oz.

Myranda tried this booth!

Fictional Victuals — 4/5

Fictional Victuals with Myranda

Well, it looks like we’re going 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea to visit this EPCOT Festival of the Arts Booth, especially since we’re starting with the Squid Ink Pasta with lump crab, truffle cream, and shaved truffle for $7.75. Nearly everyone was talking about this pasta, and we understand why. It’s delicious and really tastes more like regular pasta with just a hint of a briny flavor.

Squid Ink Pasta

We also tried the Charred Octopus rushed fingerling potatoes, kalamata olives, capers, and romesco sauce for $7.75. Now, this is one of the more unique offerings at the festival, but if you want to try something you may not have tried before, this is a good choice. The octopus is flavorful and there’s even a bit of a spiciness in the romesco sauce.

Charred Octopus

For a sweet treat, we grabbed the Black Cocoa Brownie for $6.50 which comes with ube ice cream, coral tuile, and sponge cake. The brownie was good and still had some crispy edges, even after soaking in the ice cream.

Black Cocoa Brownie

We weren’t done with sweet treats, though, because we had to try the Butterscotch Milk Shake for $5. It’s served with a chocolate garnish. This milkshake was delicious and had such a rich butterscotch taste. The chocolate piece also adds a nice extra sweetness.

Milk Shake

Time to try a cocktail. The Boyd & Blair Outis Fathom is made with Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, Juniper, and Boyd & Blair Vodka for $12. It’s a simple cocktail, but it just works. It’s one of those drinks we’ll order again and again.

The cocktail at this booth

Goshiki — 5/5

Goshiki

Goshiki has been one of our favorite booths in the past, and well, this year is no different. We started with the Wagyu Bun for $9.75 made with a steamed bun filled with American wagyu beef served with green shiso sauce. We’ve LOVED this baby in the past, but Disney changed it up a little this year. Well, it blew us away this year. The sauces add a nice flavor, but the bun stands on its own. Inside, you’ll find tender beef that’s cooked perfectly, while the bun itself is light with just a light sweet flavor.

Wagyu Bun

The Taiyaki is a crisp, flaky fish-shaped pastry filled with sweet red bean served with whipped topping and blueberry popping boba for $6.75. We don’t always love this snack, but this is done so well that it’s won us over. The pastry has a buttery flavor and a nice flakiness. There isn’t so much of the sweet red bean that it overwhelms everything else. The whipped topping also works well with the blueberry-popping boba.

Taiyaki

The Sushi Donut is a returning snack. It’s a donut-shaped sushi featuring salmon, tuna, shrimp, cucumber, and sesame seed over a decorated plate of wasabi aïoli, sriracha aïoli, and eel sauce for $8.75. It’s usually a very popular item, and we think it will be again this year. Everything from the rice to the toppings is fresh and you even get just a hint of kick from the wasabi aioli.

SUSHI DONUT!

We washed all that down with the Okinawa Lemonade for $6.75. It’s made with lemonade mixed with Shikuwasa citrus. It’s very citrusy, so there’s a nice tartness to it, which is good because it’s also sweet…almost TOO sweet.

Okinawa Lemonade

You can also get something a little more boozy here, too. The Yuzu IPA is available for $5.75 for 6 ounces and $9.75 for 12 oz. You can also order the Junmai Daiginjyo Sake Flight for $16.75, which includes three flavors, plum, yuzu, hyuganatsu, and sakuranbo Cherry.

Finally, you can get the Masu Saku this year, which comes in a traditional personalized cup. It’s a fun souvenir to bring home from the festival.

Gourmet Landscapes — 4.5/5

Gourmet Landscapes

This booth may be plant-based, but we think just about anyone would enjoy the dishes here! We started with the Citrus-braised Beet Tartare for $5.50. This dish is made with golden beet “egg yolk,” mustard vinaigrette, pickled mustard seeds, pickled mushrooms, spiced pistachios, and “feta” snow. Surprisingly, all of these ingredients work together so well and create a savory dish that we love. The beets were transformed and we loved the freshness of all the ingredients.

Citrus Braised Beet Tartare

Next up, we tried the Wild Mushroom Risotto for $9.75. This dish is made with aged parmesan, truffle shavings, and zinfandel reduction. The dish is also plant-based and we did double confirm that the parmesan is also plant-based. With that being said, wow! We couldn’t believe how creamy this dish was. The flavors melded together perfectly. We loved the combination of the creamy, slightly sweet, and rich risotto with the umami flavors of the mushrooms. This dish was a winner in our book, and we think you will enjoy it even if you aren’t vegan.

Wild Mushroom Risotto

To drink, we grabbed the Frozen Scotch Cocktail for $15.50. The drink is made with scotch and herbal tea and is garnished with a chocolate nail. Scotch is definitely one of the most prevalent flavors, but the herbal tea added a great lightness to the drink. We would say this drink had some floral notes and was a bit on the sweet side. However, the main flavor is scotch, so you will probably won’t enjoy this drink if you aren’t a fan of scotch. The chocolate nail is a fun addition to the drink, but you don’t really taste it at all. It is milk chocolate and we enjoyed it as a treat after we finished our drink.

Frozen Scotch Cocktail

You can also grab the Whole Hog Brewery Raspberry Chéret Double Radler. A 6-ounce pour costs $5.75 and a 12-ounce pour costs $9.75. At this booth, you will also find a Schlumberger Cuvée Klimt Brut for $9, and The Meeker Vineyard Winemaker’s Handprint Merlot for $11.

L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise — 5/5

L’Arte de la Cuisine Francaise

The France Booth is typically one of our favorites, so we were excited to check it out this year! First up, we grabbed a new item to the booth this year, the Pithiviers de Canard et Volaille, Sauce Canard for $9.95. This is a Puff pastry with duck, chicken, onions, mushrooms, cranberries, and duck sauce. It’s a lot of duck and chicken mixed together, which we think helped to balance out the flavors of both meats. The duck elevates the chicken a bit and the chicken tones down the fattiness of the duck. The cranberries give it a holiday dish vibe, and we were especially impressed that the puff pastry was soft and fluffy,

Pithiviers de Canard et Volaille

Next up was a returning favorite: the Crème de Brie en Petit Pain for $9.95. This is warm, creamy, melty brie cheese in a bread bowl which is basically all we dream about so, yeah. It’s delicious. This dish is creamy, the cheese is soft and smooth, and the bread is nice and warm. This is a cozy snack that we will recommend over and over again.

Crème de Brie en Petit Pain

For dessert, we grabbed the Escargot en Chocolat for $9.25. This is a chocolate mousse flourless cake, citrus coulis, almond-chocolate coating, and dark chocolate decoration – in the shape of a SNAIL!!!

Escargot en Chocolat

Imagine a Ferrero Rocher candy mixed with a chocolate candy orange – this tastes exactly like that. The chocolate and citrus notes go so well together. This is definitely a contender for Best of the Fest!

We love this!

The returning Frozen French Martini is made of Grey Goose Vodka, Chambord liqueur, pineapple, orange, and grape juices with a lemon-lime foam. It’s priced at $15.25. In the past, we thought this tasted like a grown-up Sweet Tart, in drink form. It’s not overly sweet and has a nice, fruity flavor that gives this drink candy vibes – and this year was the same!

Frozen French Martini

Finally, we grabbed the Elderflower Liqueur Cocktail made with St. Germain Liqueur, sparkling wine, and mint for $13.25. This was light and fresh tasting, but kind of boring! It’s just elderflower liqueur and sparkling wine, which is tasty, but there are many more interesting drinks at this festival!

Elderflower Liqueur Cocktail

L’Arte di Mangiare — 3/5

This one was popular!

The food booth in Italy has disappointed us quite a bit over the past few years, so maybe our expectations were low or this booth has really improved. Let’s start with the returning Mozzarella Fritta for $9. This is Flash-fried breaded fresh mozzarella with artist palette condiments. We’re giving this one a 10/10 for presentation. The sauces are also delicious, but for $9, this is really a small piece of cheese. It is a fun item to get and makes for great photos, though.

Mozzarella Fritta

The Tricolore is made with Cheese-filled ravioloni, pomodoro, cream, and pesto sauces. It’s basically a ravioloni with three sauces for $8.75. Now, this is pretty tasty, but the sauces taste like something bought at the store. However, if you’ve got picky eaters in your group, this is sure to please them.

Tricolore

The dessert here is the Hazelnut S’more Cannoli for $5.50. Okay, so this is a mini cannoli – so don’t expect a full-sized one for that price. However, it’s a nice chocolatey sweet treat – we didn’t taste much of the hazelnut flavor. It also has a nice crispy shell, so that’s made well, too.

Hazelnut S’more Cannoli

We also tried the Mela Spritz, a light, refreshing cocktail made with Apple Schnapps, prosecco, and sparkling water. This was quite nice!

Mela Spritz

Opening Bites — 4/5

Opening Bites

Welcome to this BRAND-NEW booth! First up at Opening Bites, we grabbed the Soft Shell Crab Slider. It’s served with green papaya slaw and mango ketchup on toasted brioche. This Slider costs $7.50. This smelled SO fresh when we picked it up, but we just wish it had more crab. It was mostly crunchy shell, which we didn’t really enjoy. The mango ketchup and the slaw were a nice touch, though!

Ummm

The Cheddar and Chive Scone is served with smoked salmon salad and topped with crème fraîche and caviar! It costs $7.50. The smoked salmon was VERY smoky, so fair warning on that. The crème fraîche helped mellow out the smokiness of the fish. The caviar was a nice touch, it was salty but didn’t add much to the overall dish.

Scone

The Enchanted Rose is a milk chocolate rose with raspberry and rose center for $6.50. This may be our favorite thing at this booth! The rose petals have a candy-like texture that adds a much-needed crunch. The combination of the creamy chocolate with fruity raspberry jam was delicious!

Enchanted Rose

You can also snag some drinks at this booth! The Parish Brewing Co. SIPS Candy Paint Berliner Weisse, the von Trapp Brewing Bohemian Pilsner, and the Crooked Can Brewing Company Fantasia Fusion IPA are available in a Beer Flight for $10.25, or you can grab them individually for $5.75/6oz and $9.75/12oz.

Opening Bites

Two champagnes are being served here: Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve ($12) and Piper-Heidsieck Rosé Sauvage ($12). Wine drinkers can choose from Katherine Goldschmidt Cabernet Sauvignon ($15) and Martin Ray Chardonnay ($7).

The Painted Panda — 2/5

The Painted Panda

It’s a mix of returning and brand-new items at The Painted Panda this year, which in turn is a mixed bag.

First up is a returning favorite, as the General Tso’s Chicken Shumai is back this year. These dumplings are filled with chicken, potato, onion, and water chestnut, all topped off with General Tso’s sauce for $10.75. As we have in years past, we enjoyed this dish. It was well-cooked without being too firm, and the sweet sauces it’s served with provide a nice contrast to the savory — and slightly spicy — chicken filling inside.

Chicken Shumai (2024)

The first new offering is the $10.75 Har Gow, which features shrimp dumplings with pumpkin purée and a drizzle of chili oil. We found this offering… interesting. It had an overwhelmingly, frankly off-putting fishy taste. Said taste clashed with the earthy flavor of the pumpkin and oil, making a strange combination.

Har Gow

Also debuting this year is the Egg Tart. This Hong Kong-style egg custard tart costs $5.50, and we found it to be a somewhat confusing blend of flavors and textures. It had a consistency similar to flan, but a taste that reminded us almost of eggs whipped into gelatin form.

Egg Tart

The Painted Panda also offered several drink options. The year’s bubble tea offering is a Strawberry Milk Tea for $8.75. We enjoyed the sweet strawberry flavor, as well as the boba pearls.

Strawberry Milk Tea

The Silk River Hard Lemonade is back from last year, and we still enjoyed this cocktail. The drink, which costs $14 is made of vodka, lavender-coconut syrup, and lemonade. The coconut and lemonade flavors are the most prominent, though we can also taste a hint of lavender.  However note that, despite the sugar rim, this is not an overly sweet offering.

Hard Lemonade

Finally, the $13.75 Butterfly Blue has also returned. This Butterfly pea flower-infused cocktail once again includes vodka, light rum, lychee syrup, and magic boba pearls. Unfortunately, we weren’t wild about the flavor profile. It was overall too dominated by the taste of alcohol for us to truly enjoy it, or the lychee flavors.

Butterfly Blue

If you prefer beer,  the Dragon Fruit Lager is available in 6 ounce ($5.75) and 12 ounce ($10) pours.

Pastoral Palate — 3/5

Pastoral Palate

We started off with the Pork and White Bean Cassoulet which costs $7. It is plated with Regensburger Sausage and crispy pork rinds. We were intrigued by the crispy pork rinds, but the dish only had a tiny dusting of them and you couldn’t taste any crispiness from them. It tasted like a very thick chili with plenty of beans in it. However, this dish was too mushy for us and didn’t have much flavor at all. It was very one dimensional and the sausages were hard. We had high hopes but were disappointed in this dish.

Pork and White Bean Cassoulet

You can also get the Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib for $8.75. This dish comes with parsnip purée, broccolini, baby tomatoes, and balsamic glaze. We love this dish and the combination of the savory sauce, tender vegetables, and mashed potatoes. The beef short rib is super tender and all the flavors meld together perfectly.

Red Wine Braised Short Rib 2024

We also grabbed the Black Forest Cake for $5. It is a chocolate mousse with morello cherries and chantilly cream. We are suckers for this dessert as we love the combination of chocolate and cherries. It looks good and it tastes even better! The chocolate mousse is light and the acidity of the cherries provides the perfect balance. The chantilly cream is the finishing touch and we love the temperature difference between the cold cream and the warm filling.

Black Forest Cake

For drinks, you can grab the A Play on Rosé Flight for $11.50. The flight contains three rosés: 3 Daughters Brewing Rosé Hard Cider, 81Bay Brewing Co. Rosé Blonde Ale, and the Frozen Rosé. We think this flight is really tasty and our favorite one is the Frozen Rosé. It is very refreshing and has a hint of tartness. You can also get a Marietta Old Vine Rosé for $6.25.

Pop Eats — 4/5

Pop Eats booth

At Pop Eats, we grabbed the Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese for $6. This dish reminds us of our childhood, and it is just so comforting and delicious. The combination of cheesy grilled cheese with warm tomato soup is an iconic combination for a reason. This dish isn’t unique or innovative, and that is probably why we like it so much. It is simple and yummy. The grilled cheese is buttery and full of ooey, gooey cheese, and the tomato soup is bursting with tomato flavor.

Classic grilled cheese

We also grabbed the Tomato Soup with pimento cheese, bacon, and fried green tomato grilled cheese for $6.75. If you are looking for a more unique spin on the classic grilled cheese and tomato soup, this dish is for you! The flavors work really well together, adding a wonderful complexity to a classic combination. While the fried green tomato was a tad soggy, and we wish the sandwich wasn’t quite as oily, we still really enjoyed it.

Fancy grilled cheese!

To drink, we grabbed the Bleu Spectrum for $10.50. This drink is made with Blanc de Bleu Cuvée Mousseux with boba pearls. While the drink is very pretty, the taste doesn’t match its beauty. It is a fun, bubbly drink with lots of wine flavor. The popping boba pearls added a good sweetness and texture to the drink. However, it was very difficult to get the pearls while you were drinking. We found ourselves having to take huge gulps to try to get drink and pearls in the same sip. We wouldn’t say this drink is bad, but it just doesn’t stand out.

It’s pretty, but we’d probably skip this one

You can also grab Brooklyn Brewery Pulp Art Hazy IPA at Pop Eats. You can get 6 ounces for $5.75, or 12 ounces for $9.75. It is a pretty standard IPA and could be a good option if you are looking for a beer to drink alongside your tomato soup and grilled cheese.

Emma tasted the food at Pop Eats

Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina — 5/5

Tangerine Cafe

Too many people see the words “plant-based” and immediately get turned off, but Tangierine Cafe proves that plant-based can be delicious. This year, we were reunited with one of our favorite festival snacks, the Stone-baked Moroccan Bread with assorted dips for $5.25. The first dip had a red peppers and oil flavor with a hint of heat – it’s not super spicy, but it’s got enough to add depth. The second dip gave off chimichurri vibes – it also had a touch of spice. Both of these dips were fantastic. The third dip is just a standard hummus, but it’s good hummus and works well with the bread and other dips.

Stone-baked Moroccan Bread with assorted dips

The Avocado-Coconut Custard Tart is made with pomegranate cream and henna-inspired gelée Veil for $5.25. First, we have to warn you that the tart’s crust has an earthier taste like it’s made with whole wheat. That could be off-putting to some folks, but we liked it. The custard is wonderful – we could’ve eaten just in a bowl. However, we didn’t taste the pomegranate cream mentioned in the description. But this is still a wonderful treat.

Avocado-Coconut Custard Tart

You can also get some drinks here, including the Chai Tea-Mint Fizz for $4.75. An alcoholic version with sparkling wine is also available for $12. We’ve also previously tried the Rekorderlig Strawberry-Lime Hard Cider for $5.75 for 6 ounces or $9.75 for 12 ounces. Another returning drink is the Keel Farms Blueberry Lavender Hard Cider for $5.75 for 6 ounces or $9.75 for 12 ounces. We found it had a floral essence when we last had it, but you do get the blueberry flavor, too. Finally, you can get a new drink here this year: The Parish Brewing Co. Mango Mochi, which you can pick up for $5.75 for 6 ounces or $9.75 for 12 ounces.

Vibrante & Vivido — 4/5

Vibrante & Vivido!

We stopped by Vibrante & Vivido for two returning snacks and the NEW drink offering! We grabbed the Chorizo and Potato Empanada with turmeric aioli and annatto aioli for $6.75. This is a SPICY dish, which Quincy loved! It’s one of the spiciest items you’re likely to find at Disney World, but it still has all the flavor. Plus, this dish is a Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine item!

Empanada

Next, we tried the Passion Fruit-filled Mango Cheesecake for $5.25. This is a coconut pineapple cake with dragon fruit gelée, and dragon fruit-strawberry sauce. It’s a creamy and delicious dessert. There is a VERY fruity and tropical flavor to it, and the edible flower is a fun touch. However, the passion fruit flavor is very strong, so if you’re not a fan of passion fruit, you might want to steer clear. But the saving grace of the passion fruit flavor is that it’s not too acidic, which is great with the rest of the flavors.

Cheesecake

The new drink we tried is the Layered Tropical Berry Smoothie. You can get it as a non-alcoholic drink for $5.00 or with Sailor Jerry Rum for $14.50. The description says it has layers of wild berry, piña colada, and strawberry, but honestly, all we could taste in the non-alcoholic version was strawberry. As adults, we were a bit disappointed in this. It’s not really a smoothie, but instead a slushy. We’re pretty sure kids are going to love this though!

Smoothie

Other options at this booth include Spicy Ajiaco Soup and the new Collective Arts Guava Dream Blonde Ale.

Additional Locations

Connections Eatery — 3/5

Connections Eatery

At Connections Eatery, you can grab Figment’s Liege Waffle for $5.79 and the Imagination Lemonade for $5.79 as well!

Figment’s Liege Waffle

Figment’s Liege Waffle is made with ube filling that almost has a jelly-like texture to it. While we tasted hints of it throughout our bites, it was overpowered by the sugar and frosting on top of the waffle. If you love sugar, or you’re more of a picky eater, this will likely be a hit for you.

The Imagination Lemonade is made with Minute Maid Premium Lemonade topped with butterfly pea tea and lavender, and you can get vodka added to this drink for an additional charge. We decided to grab the non-alcoholic version and while we tasted the slightest hint of lavender, that’s the only other flavor we had other than the lemonade. That’s not a bad thing, per se, but it does just mean it’s essentially, well, lemonade. Kiddos will likely be a big fan of it, as well as picky eaters, but otherwise, we suggest checking out some of the other exciting non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks at the festival.

Funnel Cake Stand — 2/5

Funnel Cake Stand

We popped by the Funnel Cake stand where you can pick up the special festival snack there – the Cotton Candy Funnel Cake. It’s with powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, pink and purple sugar dusting, and cotton candy crunch. It’s also $12 and, well, we’re not sure it’s worth that price, except under one condition.

Do cotton candy and funnel cake go together?

First, we didn’t get any cotton candy flavor from the funnel cake at all. It’s also very hard to eat because there’s a lot going on with it. We even think it’s smaller than other funnel cakes we’ve had in Disney World. Honestly, we probably wouldn’t get it again unless we had the Disney Dining Plan. The Cotton Candy Funnel Cake is included in the Dining Plan as a snack credit, and at $12, that’s an incredible value for a snack credit.

Overall, though, we might still save that snack credit for something else at the festival.

Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company — 5/5

This year, all the Joffrey’s locations in EPCOT will serve the Color Craze Latte + Donut made with espresso, Swiss chocolate syrup, dark chocolate sauce, and milk complemented with a frosted donut and whipped cream and topped with M&M’S Milk Chocolate Minis. (You can make it a boozy coffee by adding Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur.) It’s available for $10.99.

We’re happy to report that this tastes as good as it looks! The dark chocolate paired nicely with that rich coffee flavor, and everything was blended to perfection. The drink had a nice chocolatey richness, but you still get that coffee flavor, too. Think of it like a fancier, elevated chocolate milk! Yum!

Refreshment Outpost — 3/5

Sage

It feels like we’ve been eating the Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie for years, but it never gets old. This year, you can get it for $5.75. This soft chocolate chip cookie, designed to look like an artist’s paint palette, is a deliciously gooey treat for kids and adults alike. This year, we had our fun “playing with our food”, mixing the colored frostings together to create some greens, purples, oranges, etc. before chowing down on the surprisingly good chocolate chip cookie.

While the cookie is the only food option at the booth, the outpost does offer several beers, including the Parish Brewing Co. Blueberry Mochi Berliner Weisse — still possibly the sweetest beer we’ve ever had — the Brewlando Liquid Art Pilsner, and the Ology Brewing Co. Rainbow Colored Glasses Rainbow Sherbet Berliner.

Refreshment Port — 5/5

Emma with the full spread

The Refreshment Port is serving up some poutine, a giant cookie, and a couple of drinks! We tried the new Caprese Poutine for $8.50, and boy was it amazing! This poutine is made with Tuscan-spiced French fries, confit tomatoes, slivered garlic, mozzarella pearls, basil pesto, shaved pecorino, and balsamic glaze. The fries were dusted with an Italian seasoning that perfectly paired with the pesto and balsamic glaze, and the tomatoes were cooked so perfectly that they exploded in your mouth. The soggy fries on the bottom were honestly even better than the top fries because they had soaked up all the flavors from the pesto and glaze. We would grab these again in a heartbeat.

We also tried the Boyd & Blair Blood Orange Cosmo, which is a returning drink. You can grab it for $12, and we highly suggest you do! This year it was fantastic! It was well-balanced and knocked Emma’s socks off. Not only was it a bit tart and sweet, but it also paired with our Caprese Poutine beautifully. We definitely enjoyed both of these items!

You can also grab the Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie and the new 81Bay Brewing Co. Italian Pilsner at this booth.

Swirled Showcase — 3/5

Angie at Swirled Showcase

First up, we grabbed the Imagination Cone made with bubble gum soft-serve in a lavender cone, “sparks” of imagination, and white chocolate wings. You can try it for $6.75. This was VERY bubble gum forward, so if you like that flavor then this is definitely a treat you’ll want to try!

The new Candy Trio Flight is made with DOLE Whip Strawberry with STARBURST MINIS fruit chews, DOLE Whip Lemon with SKITTLES POP’d Freeze Dried Candy, and DOLE Whip Lime with chili-lime seasoning and LIFE SAVERS gummies for $8. THREE kinds of DOLE Whip and THREE kinds of candy?! This is a sugar fiend’s dream scenario. The strawberry was our favorite of the three flavors, but the lemon and lime were both equally refreshing and tart. The tray was a little flimsy which did make this kind of hard to eat!

And finally, we got the Liquid Nitrogen Minnie cake pop with berry sponge cake, white chocolate ganache, and colorful chocolate splats for $4.75. The sponge cake was moist and did have a light berry flavor to it. It was light, but you can still taste the fruitiness. It’s adorable, but it kind of just reminded us of a grocery store cake.
