Why Main Street, U.S.A. Will Be Packed at 6:15PM Tonight in Disney World

It’s the holiday season in Disney World…well, unofficially!

Christmas has arrived!

Disney starts decorating for the season as soon as Halloween wraps up (and in some cases, even sooner!). But the real fun starts when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights kick off later this week. However, it looks like there’s a little bit of holiday fun we can check out before the parties start!

Ever since the pandemic, Magic Kingdom has changed its castle decor for the holiday season. Cinderella Castle used to be decked out with Christmas lights (known as dream lights), but now, it’s lit up with festive projections throughout the season.

To light up the castle each night, there’s a Frozen-themed show that features Elsa using her magical powers. Frozen Holiday Surprise typically happens once a night on regular park days and twice a night during days when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place.

And if you’re eager to check out the show, you’ll be happy to know that it looks like Frozen Holiday Surprise starts TONIGHT! Showtimes are listed on the Disney World website starting on November 5th.

Tonight (and on other non-party nights), the showtime is 6:15PM. If you’re attending the Christmas Party, you can also see the show at 8:15PM on those nights. It’s a fairly short show featuring Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf as they “ring in the season.”

We can’t wait to check it out again this year! Stay tuned to AllEars for more news and updates about holiday offerings.
