The Perk at Disney's All Star Hotels That I Know You're NOT Using Enough

Disney’s All Star Hotels are great options for those looking to stay in Disney World on a budget.

These are the cheapest hotels on Disney World property, which means they’re some of the furthest from the parks, but you still have complimentary bus transportation to all four plus Disney Springs and Disney’s water parks. However, there’s another perk that we don’t think a lot of people remember, and we need to talk about it!

While these hotels are farthest from the Disney World parks, they are the closest to the McDonald’s on Disney World property! In fact, according to Google Maps, the distance between each All Star Hotel and the McDonald’s on foot is:

All Star Movies to McDonald’s: 25 minutes
All Star Sports to McDonald’s: 10 minutes
All Star Music to McDonald’s: 18 minutes

As you can see, specifically All Star Sports is the place to stay, but all of these aren’t too bad if you’re genuinely craving McDonald’s on your vacation. While this may sound silly, the truth is that each of these hotels only has one restaurant, which is a food-court like option.

While we love them, don’t get us wrong, sometimes you’re just feeling something different and you’re glad to be within walking distance of a different restaurant, rather than having to hop in your car or on a Disney World bus.

So this is certainly another perk you want to keep in mind when you’re planning your Disney World vacation! All Star Sports is one of the cheapest in Disney World, but it can also be home to many large sports or school groups that are visiting the parks. That’s the case for all the All Star Hotels, but many sports teams will choose to stay at All Star Sports if they can.

That means that you will want to expect your hotel to be a little more crowded at times, and don’t make the mistake of waiting to book because you assume it’ll be plenty open. We’ve been there, and we know many of you have too!
