An iconic Disney World ride has been under refurbishment for months but it’s officially reopening soon!
You never know when a ride might be unexpectedly close and it can seriously put a damper on your day. Luckily, Disney usually announces most major refurbishments ahead of time and this one was no different. But, right after this ride reopens it will CHANGE — don’t worry, we can explain.
Jingle Cruise — the popular holiday ride overlay at Jungle Cruise — is returning to Magic Kingdom on November 2nd, per Scott Gustin. This is especially exciting because we’ve been deprived of the regular Jungle Cruise for months now, and we can’t wait for it to officially reopen on October 16th.
But then, just a few short weeks later, Jungle Cruise will be transformed into Jingle Cruise — full of holiday-themed puns from your favorite Skippers. In years past, the decorations have started in the queue and continued throughout the ride.
We can’t wait to celebrate the holidays at Disney World! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off at Magic Kingdom on November 8th and Disney’s Jollywood Nights begins at Hollywood Studios on November 9th. Tickets to these special events are available now!
And, don’t forget the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays starts on November 29th!
