Okay, let’s start with the Nanny Chairs. If you’ve never been to the BoardWalk Inn, you might be thinking, “What even is a Nanny Chair?” Trust us, these are something you won’t forget once you see them.

These slightly unsettling yet charming chairs can be found in random places throughout the resort, and were all cast from molds of 19th-century carousel chairs. They definitely give the feeling that they’re watching over you while you wait to check-in or chill in the lobby.

We’ll be honest, they give off some serious Haunted Mansion vibes. But we can’t help but be fascinated by them! There’s something about their oddness that makes them so memorable. We can be sure in saying that you won’t find anything like these in any other Disney hotel, and that’s why we love them!

AbracadaBar: A Magician-Themed Bar? Sign Us Up!

Another thing we love, and find just a bit bizarre, is AbracadaBar, the BoardWalk’s magician-themed bar.

You might be wondering, “Wait, why is there a bar themed after magicians here?” Honestly, we’re still asking the same question, but it totally works. AbracadaBar is tucked between Trattoria al Forno and Flying Fish, and it’s themed like an old-fashioned speakeasy for magicians.

The drinks are as theatrical as the atmosphere. With names like “Conjurita” and “Parlor Trick” you’ll have the feeling like you’re casting a spell with every sip.

The best part is that the décor is filled with magical trinkets and props that add a dash of mystery to your night out. It’s the kind of spot that feels so perfectly quirky and so often overlooked, but once you experience it, you’ll be telling everyone, “You have to go here next time you’re at Disney World!”
