NEWS: Disney Announces Paid Previews for New Country Bear Jamboree Attraction in Magic Kingdom

Some things never change in Disney World, like the fact that Mickey ears are an iconic souvenir or the idea that you can enjoy the parks no matter how old you are. But other things change all the time! When was the last time some part of Disney World wasn’t under construction?

Like it or not, Disney World is in a constant state of change. Imagineers are constantly working on new projects, new hotels, and new restaurants. And it’s our job to report on ALL of it! Speaking of new things, we need to talk about a BIG Magic Kingdom project that is wrapping up SOON! And a select group of people can preview the new attraction early. Let’s take a look!

Disney has an exclusive paid membership program, and its members often have access to special discounts, souvenirs, and even ride previews! If you’re a D23 Gold Member, you might want to listen up.

D23 Event in 2024

Disney just announced a NEW D23 Gold Member event. It’s called the Gold Mem-bear Gatherin’— Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom. That’s right — we’ve got a NEW attraction preview coming soon!

Want a preview of the revamped Country Bear Jamboree show in Magic Kingdom? Well, this is a paid event, and tickets are exclusively available for Gold Members. Tickets will cost $49, plus a $7 processing fee. You can purchase tickets starting Monday, July 8th at 10AM PT on the D23 website. Set your alarms — this could sell out due to its limited capacity!

Your ticket includes admission to Magic Kingdom Park, but note admission is ONLY valid for entry immediately following check-in for your specified show time. Once you enter the park, you will be treated to a private preview of Disney’s NEW Country Bear Musical Jamboree show. You will also get a commemorative print and access to a pre-show discussion with The Walt Disney Archives and Walt Disney Imagineering!

There will be three special shows (all the same) with varying showtimes on July 13th:

  • Group 1: “Bunny’s Bears” — 7PM Showtime
  • Group 2: “Bubbles’ Bears” — 8PM Showtime
  • Group 3: “Beulah’s Bears”– 9PM Showtime

Here’s a full look at the event schedule:

  • Check-in opens at the Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC) an hour and half prior to each respective showtime.
    • Group #1: Check-in from 5:30–6:30PM at TTC
    • Group #2: Check-in from 6:30–7:30PM at TTC
    • Group #3: Check-in from 7:30– 8:30PM at TTC
  • Check-in for the event. You will receive event gifts after checking in.
  • Then, you will take the Monorail or ferry to Magic Kingdom and look for the dedicated turnstile entry. Show your event wristband to enter.
  • Find the queue at the entrance to Grizzly Hall, located adjacent to Frontierland Trading Post in Frontierland.
  • Once the doors open, grab a spot to watch the show inside Grizzly Hall!
  • The experience begins with a presentation from the Walt Disney Archives, followed by a performance from the Country Bear Musical Jamboree!

So, what can we expect from the new show? Well, Disney teased that the updated version will feature the same iconic cast of characters with a NEW act. Listen for songs in all kinds of country genres, like Americana, bluegrass, pop-country, rockabilly, and more! You might even hear some familiar Disney songs with a country spin.

The new show will officially debut on July 17th. If you’re not a D23 Gold Member (or miss out on the special event), the good news is that you don’t have to wait much longer! D23 Gold Members can purchase up to two tickets.

    They should be paying US to preview the show.
    What’s next…pay toilets in all 4 parks?
