For the better part of a decade now, Hollywood Studios has had a holiday problem. Since Disney removed the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights from the park as part of the construction of Galaxy’s Edge, the park has struggled to establish an identity during the holiday season. Last year, Disney launched Jollywood Nights at the park, but the reactions were not all that positive. However, the event is coming back.

Jollywood Nights is returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for select dates from November 9th through December 21st, 2024.

The event will be held on seven nights in November (9th, 13th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, and 30th) as well as six in December (2nd, 7th, 11th, 14th, 18th, 21st). The party lasts from 7:30PM to 12:30AM and guests with valid tickets can begin entering Hollywood Studios at 6PM.

Tickets for Jollywood Nights go on sale to the general public on July 10th, with a price range of $159 to $179 per ticket, plus tax (prices vary by event date). Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Jollywood Nights, in a discount valid for all event nights. Those with reservations at some Disney World hotels can begin purchasing tickets on July 2nd for event dates during their scheduled stay.

Bo Peep and Lotso from the Toy Story franchise and the depictions of Baloo and King Louie from the Disney Afternoon classic Talespin will be added to the meet & greet list, appearing at the entrance to Toy Story Land and Echo Lake respectively.

Hollywood Boulevard will feature a brand new “dazzling skating spectacular… set to your favorite holiday tunes” that features “international champion skaters in an awe-inspiring twist on the traditional ice show.  Performances will be staged at 8:15PM, 9:15PM, 10:20PM, 11:15PM and 12:15AM.

The Holiday Fiesta en la Calle, “a lively holiday street fair” featuring “warm lighting, colorful décor and spirited musicians performing Latin holiday tunes—as well as appearances from José Carioca and Panchito from The Three Caballeros” has been moved to the park’s Courtyard area.

Finally, a merchandise line featuring Ollie, “the most dapper gingerbread man in Hollywood” is debuting this year. The line features items including a Minnie Mouse ear headband festive apparel, and accessories.

Disney is bringing Jollywood Nights back for a second year in a row, despite the lackluster reception to the inaugural 2023 edition of the event. Stay tuned to AllEars for further updates on Disney World’s holiday schedule.
