There’s going to be some photographic magic down on the bayou.
As Tiana’s Bayou Adventure continues to steam closer towards its June 28th opening day, Disney has revealed some of the PhotoPass treats in store for those who ride the attraction, including the on-ride photo, some special treats in the queue, and more.
The On-Ride Photo
Like many of Disney’s most popular attractions, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will have an on-ride photo. According to Disney, the photo will “feature some of Tiana’s critter friends — and through some Disney PhotoPass magic, a few surprises may show up!” As with Disney’s other on-ride photos, the image will be accessible through the resort’s PhotoPass Service’s all-inclusive digital download package, Memory Maker as well as as a print from the general store location.
Commemorative Ride Photo Package
In addition to the normal print, there will also be a Commemorative Print Package available at the General Store retail location. The package will become available starting on June 28th with the ride’s opening!
The package will retail for $32.95 plus tax, and include an 8×10 print of your attraction photo, two recipe cards, a thank you note from Tiana for attending Mardi Gras, two specialty prints, and a digital copy of the attraction photo.
We got a chance to take a look at this souvenir package, and LOVED it. The full spread is quite large and impressive.
The recipes are for Tiana’s World Famous Beignets (naturally) and New Orleans Gumbo.
The thank you note from Tiana is a really cute touch…
…that adds a lot to the Mardi Gras party theme of the ride.
Magic Shots
In addition to the on-ride photos, there are also some Magic Shots available in the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue area.
According to Disney, these include “an additional prop photo inspired by our critter friends, and a new Disney PhotoPass lens,” both of which we got to try!
