According to our friends at DisneyFoodBlog, a Disney World Cast Member confirmed that the order of decorations being taken down in the Disney World hotels depends on where the decorations are stored in the warehouse!

Wilderness Lodge is usually one of the last resorts to be decorated and the first to be taken down due to its (most likely) far-back position in storage. This way, Cast Members can unload front to back and reload back to front.

Holiday decorations usually stay up around the Disney World hotels for the first few days of the new year, and then they’ll start to go away. Decorations in the parks typically stay up a bit longer, but not by much.
