Magic Kingdom is full of rides and attractions.
For a lot of us, our favorite rides in Magic Kingdom are picked because of our feelings of nostalgia. The park has a handful of bigger rides and about two or three that could maybe be considered “thrill rides.” With the new addition of TRON Lightcycle / Run and classics like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, there are some pretty great rides in the original Walt Disney World park. But you might be surprised at what is ranked as the number one attraction in the Magic Kingdom.
If you start thinking about the best rides in Magic Kingdom, you’re probably thinking about TRON, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, and many other classics. But surprisingly, not a single one of those big name rides is the top-rated attraction in the park, according to Yelp.
We recently visited Yelp to find out the top 10 rides in Magic Kingdom according to reviewers and the number one spot surprised us! It surprised us, first, because it’s not technically a ride and, second, because there are some pretty big competitors at the park. Would you believe that Mickey’s PhilarMagic is the number 1 ride/attraction in all of the Magic Kingdom?!
Mickey’s PhilharMagic is an exciting 3D show that is truly magical! It features many beloved movies and characters. And it’s far more than just eye candy, it’s a full on experience for the senses. You can experience visual, scent, sound, and tactile effects for a truly immersive movie.
You get to follow Donald Duck as he goes on a whirlwind adventure of trouble. It is really an amazing show that Disney produced to the highest quality. The show received a Yelp rating of 4.7 out of 5 with 130 reviews. And our readers have pretty similar positive thoughts with a ranking of 8.26/ 10!

While we did have a little chuckle that this show is considered Magic Kingdom’s best “ride,” we do agree that it is pretty fantastic! We definitely recommend taking advantage of the air conditioning and comfy seats to enjoy it on your trip.
