We Have BAD NEWS About the Skyliner at Jollywood Nights in Disney World

November 11th marked a BIG day for Disney and holiday fans everywhere.

That’s right, November 11th marked the FIRST EVER Jollywood Nights event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We were among the very first group of people to check out all things holly and jolly throughout the night, and of course — figure out what’s hip and happening so you don’t have to. One thing that many party-goers were concerned about was the SKYLINER — as the party runs from 8:30PM to 12:30AM (but ticketed guests can get in at 7PM), which is outside of the gondola system’s usual hours of operation. We’re headed to check it out!

Typically, the Skyliner stops running 90 minutes after park closure each night. This is staying true during Jollywood Nights, but for the closing time of the park to regular guests — NOT when Jollywood Nights ends.

Guests heading to and from Jollywood Nights will still be able to access the Skyliner even after the park technically closes at 8PM, but only until 9:30PM, according to Cast Members. That means that the last “flight” will leave the park at 9:30PM. However, Cast Members also confirmed that buses will still be open, so you’ll still be able to get home.

So…rest assured that you will not be stranded in Hollywood Studios for the night if you choose to take the Skyliner to the event. Just head to the bus stops for your journey back home.
