A Disney World Hotel Restaurant Is Temporarily CLOSING

If you’re heading over to Disney’s Fort Wilderness soon, you will want to know about this change.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

Fort Wilderness is much more than just a campground. There are many activities you can do like visit Tri Circle D Ranch and see the horses, take a carriage ride, or grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurant options here. However, your selection just got more limited with a newly announced closure.

The Chuck Wagon is a food truck stationed at Fort Wilderness. The truck serves burgers, fries, snacks, drinks, and more. You can find it at the Settlement site between Trail’s End and the boat rental building.

However, according to Disney’s website beginning August 8th, the truck will be closed. There are no hours listed on the website.

However, it will reopen on August 20th as the website shows hours again starting that date.

If you are staying at Fort Wilderness or were just hoping to eat here, don’t worry. There are TWO recently reopened options at the Settlement site. Trail End’s and Crockett’s Tavern are both open and serving food and drinks.
