Would We Pay $179 for Disney World's NEW After Hours Party?

Okay, we don’t want to get prematurely excited, but this holiday season is gearing up to be pretty awesome in Disney World.

Not only are fan favorites like the Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT, the Merry Menagerie at Animal Kingdom, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom returning but there’s also going to be a NEW holiday party this year. The new Hollywood Studios event is called Disney Jollywood Nights, and as part of the party, you can visit two EXCLUSIVE spaces.

First, let’s talk about the basics. Jollywood Nights is happening on 10 select dates throughout the holiday season, and it runs from 8:30PM-12:30AM. During that time, you can visit dance parties, try special snacks and drinks, meet characters, and watch holiday entertainment.

There are several offerings that will be exclusive to the party, but on top of that, there will be two limited-capacity entertainment experiences at the party. They include a jazz lounge at The Hollywood Brown Derby and an “otherworldly soiree” at the Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard.

Starting out with the jazz lounge at The Hollywood Brown Derby, we know that it will be a sing-along piano bar! Songs will be performed from the 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s, and it’s meant to feel like a swinging, speakeasy type of party.

At the Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard, there will be a “ghostly band.” The party here will recreate the Tip Top Club from the Tower of Terror’s backstory. They’ll even have custom food!

Both of these are offered during the party only, so you’ll need to purchase a ticket to Jollywood Nights to experience either offering. Tickets will cost between $159-$179 per person and go on sale to the public on July 6th (with early access for Disney resort guests June 29th). But honestly, if that Tower of Terror soiree is as cool as it sounds, we might be tempted to spend the whole night there!
