Today is the 25th anniversary of the opening of Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
In celebration of Animal Kingdom’s MAJOR milestone, there are a ton of limited-time offerings in the park! Today we’ve seen a special opening ceremony, a commemorative park map, and new treats, just to name a few. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Disney celebration without new MERCH!
We spotted a collection of 25th-anniversary merchandise available at both Island Mercantile and Discovery Trading Co. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Let’s take a look at ALL the celebratory items we spotted!
First up, here’s a cool Tree of Life-inspired 25th Anniversary Light Box, priced at $44.99.
And here’s a colorful Mickey Shaped Magnet featuring some of our favorite safari animals for $11.99.

Was at Animal Kingdom yesterday, 4-26-23, most items were in stock however the bucket hat was not. And there were no Animal Kingdom specific hats available only those that were in conjunction of a ride such as Dinosaur, Pandora or Kilimanjaro Safari…is that usual? It’s been pre-covid since I’ve been to DAK.
