Disney World has added a LOT of new restaurants in the past few years.
We’ve seen additions like Space 220, Roundup Rodeo BBQ, Steakhouse 71, and Connections Eatery in the parks and resorts. But coming soon, one popular resort is getting a dining REFRESH.
We found out a while back that Trail’s End Restaurant at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground would be closing to make way for a new market-style quick service restaurant. The Disney World website has been showing hours for Trail’s End through May, so we thought we might have more time to enjoy the spot before its closure…but that’s not the case!
According to Disney Cast Members, Trail’s End has officially closed for refurbishment and reservations are no longer available. So if you hoped to check it out one last time, you’re sadly out of luck. The restaurant plans to reopen in summer 2023 with the updated experience.
We stopped by to see what the restaurant was like.
Currently, the seating inside is open to anyone who is grabbing something from Crockett’s Tavern nearby.
In the meantime, P&J’s Southern Takeout and the Chuck Wagon food truck are both available for dining needs. You can also schedule a reservation for the dinner show — Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue!
We’ll keep an eye out for any more news about Trail’s End and we’ll let you know as soon as we get an opening date for the new restaurant. Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
