PHOTOS: Filming Spotted in Disney World!

If you think that all you’ll find in Disney World are rides, shows, food, and merchandise, you are very mistaken!

Sometimes Disney can SURPRISE you with things you’d never expect to see like a pin-trading trash can (it’s real!), unexpected celebrity appearances, and MORE. From time to time, we’ve also seen filming taking place in Disney World, sometimes for holiday specials or commercials. And today we spotted MORE filming in the parks!

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we spotted some filming taking place within Pandora: The World of Avatar.

What the filming is for isn’t entirely clear, but we did see quite a few folks with equipment in the area. Looks like someone was holding up an umbrella to keep things shady too.

Again, in the past sometimes the filming we’ve spotted has been for commercials, holiday specials, or simply TV spots/TV shows Disney is working on. With upcoming Avatar films in the works and the most recent Avatar film hitting some monumental records, perhaps this will be related to the film side of the Avatar world. We’ll have to wait and see just where this footage could end up.
