When Walt Disney World first opened in 1971, the Magic Kingdom theme park was the central attraction of the Vacation Kingdom, with all of the resort area’s transportation built around getting to the park.
However, in the five decades since Walt Disney World has grown exponentially, making getting to the resort a tad more complicated to navigate… to say the least! Don’t fret, though, we’re here to answer every question you could possibly have about how to get to the Magic Kingdom.
Magic Kingdom’s Address
First and foremost, knowing the Magic Kingdom’s physical address is important. The park is located at 1180 Seven Seas Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830.
How to Drive to Magic Kingdom
Once you have the address, enter it into your GPS and follow the instructions. However, you won’t actually be able to park at the Magic Kingdom.
The Transportation and Ticket Center
The Magic Kingdom doesn’t actually have a parking lot. Instead, guests can park at the Transportation and Ticket Center. They can then take either the Walt Disney World Monorail or a ferry boat across the Seven Seas Lagoon to reach the Magic Kingdom.

How to Get to Magic Kingdom From Polynesian Village, Contemporary, or Grand Floridian Resorts
For guests staying at a resort on the Seven Seas Lagoon, there are numerous transportation options to reach the Magic Kingdom. Each of the three resorts are linked to the park via the Walt Disney World Monorail, and the Polynesian Village and Grand Floridan also offer boats to the Magic Kingdom. In addition, all three resorts are on a walking path that leads directly to the Magic Kingdom.
How to Get to Magic Kingdom From Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness Resort
Guests staying at either the Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness Resort can take a dedicated ferry boat to the Magic Kingdom.
How to Get to Magic Kingdom From a Disney World Hotel
For Disney World resort guests not staying at one of the Seven Seas Lagoon resorts, the best option to get to the Magic Kingdom is via the Walt Disney World bus line. These buses drop guests off at the bus loop just outside the park.
How to Walk to the Magic Kingdom
As previously stated, one can walk from the Contemporary, Polynesian Village, and Grand Floridian resorts (as well as the Transportation and Ticket Center) to the Magic Kingdom.

How to Get to Magic Kingdom From Disney Springs
The best way to get from Disney Springs to the Magic Kingdom would be to take the bus from Disney Springs to the Contemporary Resort, than take the short walk or monorail ride to the park.
Can You Take the Skyliner to Magic Kingdom?
No, the Disney Skyliner does not go to the Magic Kingdom.
Can You Take Uber or Lyft to Magic Kingdom?
Yes, both Uber and Lyft service the Magic Kingdom. However, neither service can drop guests off at the Magic Kingdom bus loop. Instead, riders are dropped off at the aforementioned Transportation and Ticket Center, where you would then need to take the Monorail or a ferry boat to the park entrance. Remember that while the other transportation methods outlined here are free, you will need to pay for an Uber or Lyft.

Can You Take a Minnie Van to Magic Kingdom?
Yes, Disney’s in-house Minnie Van service is available to theMagic Kingdom. While it will be more expensive than a regular Lyft, it can save you time! Minnie Vans can drop guests off directly at the park’s resort bus loop as opposed to the TTC.
