Chances are no matter when you visit Disney World, there’s a LOT going on.

Splash Mountain has permanently closed in Disney World to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and there are so many new experiences on the way to celebrate Disney’s 100th Anniversary. There’s a lot more ahead this year as well. If you’re a big fan of eating in Disney World, we’ve got a full list of ALL the restaurant closures happening in Disney World this year so you can prepare.
Don’t panic if you feel there are a lot of restaurants listed here — there are still plenty of wonderful restaurants you can experience in the parks this year.
Magic Kingdom
Breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant

Dates: Currently unavailable — no return date announced.
Details: Be Our Guest still offers lunch and dinner dining options, but breakfast has been unavailable since before the park’s closure.
Aunt Polly’s Dockside Inn

Dates: Currently closed — no reopening date announced.
Details: Aunt Polly’s Dockside Inn is usually only open seasonally on Tom Sawyer Island, but has yet to open any time recently.
Tomorrowland Terrace

Dates: Closed since August 2021 — no reopening date announced.
Details: Tomorrowland Terrance did open after the 2020 park closures and operated normally until 2021 when its operating hours changed. In August of 2021, the restaurant advertised no more hours, and has been closed ever since other than to host fireworks dessert parties.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Roundup Rodeo BBQ

Dates: Opening March 23rd, 2023!
Details: Roundup Rodeo BBQ will serve “barbecue-inspired comfort foods served family-style, with platters of house-smoked meats, a roundup of sides, and some miniature sweet surprises along the way.”
Neighborhood Bakery

Dates: Currently closed — no reopening date announced.
Details: The Neighborhood Bakery used to be a kiosk home to Mickey pretzels, popcorn, and the Num Num Cookie, but has been closed since the parks reopened in 2020.
EPCOT
Restaurant Marrakesh

Dates: Currently closed — no reopening date announced.
Details: Restaurant Marrakesh did not reopen with the parks in 2020. Menus have been removed from outside the restaurant and at this time, no other signage has been put up.
Tokyo Dining

Dates: Closed November 2022 through summer 2023
Details: Tokyo Dining closed for refurbishment in November of 2022, and is expected to reopen sometime in summer 2023.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Dino Diner

Dates: Permanently closed since September 2022.
Details: The Dino Diner closed in September of 2022 for unknown reasons, and when construction walls were removed a few weeks later, the whole stand disappeared.
Disney Springs
Summer House on the Lake

Dates: Opening sometime in 2023
Details: The California-inspired menu, led by Chef Ben Goodnick, features simple ingredients sourced from local grower partnerships and sustainable products.
Disney’s BoardWalk
ESPN Club

Dates: Permanently closed in 2022.
Details: The ESPN Club closed permanently in 2022 to make way for the Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers which is slated to open in 2023.
Cake Bake Shop

Dates: Opening sometime in 2023
Details: The ESPN Club closed permanently in 2022 to make way for the Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers which is slated to open in 2023.
Funnel Cake Cart

Dates: Currently closed — no reopening date announced.
Details: The Funnel Cake Stand is closed and completely empty with no sign of reopening.
Trattoria al Forno — Bon Voyage Character Breakfast

Dates: Currently unavailable — no return date announced.
Details: While Trattoria al Forno still offers breakfast, this character dining experience hasn’t returned since the 2020 pandemic park closure.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show

Dates: Permanently closed.
Details: The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show did not return after the 2020 park closures and permanently closed in early 2022. It was torn down to make way for a new DVC development at the resort.
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
Trail’s End

Dates: Closing in spring 2023
Details: Trail’s End Restaurant at Fort Wilderness will close for refurbishment this coming spring. It will reopen later this year as “a marketplace concept with expanded quick service options.”
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
1900 Park Fare

Dates: Currently closed — no reopening date announced.
Details: 1900 Park Fare closed with the parks in 2020, and has yet to reopen.
Garden View Tea Room

Dates: Currently closed — no reopening date announced.
Details: The Garden View Tea Room closed with the parks in 2020, and has yet to reopen.
Narcoossee’s

Dates: Closed since summer 2022 and set to reopen later this year.
Details: Narcoossee’s closed with parts of the resort in the summer of 2022 when it was announced that the resort would be undergoing refurbishment.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Cape Town Lounge & Wine Bar

Dates: Currently closed — no reopening date announced.
Details: Cape Town Lounge & Wine Bar is currently closed and has yet to reopen.
Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort
Fresh Mediterranean Market

Dates: Permanently closed.
Details: Fresh Mediterranean Market permanently closed and will reopen as Rosa Mexicano in early 2023.

You don’t have the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill included in your list of restaurant closures. Disney’s website has it listed as Temporarily Closed. I have been trying to find info on this closure, including when it might re-open.
