Pirates of the Caribbean Is Temporarily CLOSED in Disney World

We are heading into the busy holiday season in Disney World.

The crowds are starting to arrive in the parks, we’re seeing high standby wait times, and Genie+ has hit its highest price we’ve seen yet due to demand. Now, a super popular ride is temporarily closed.

So for the time being there will be no Yo Ho Yo Ho-ing, at least until the ride is back up. If you had plans to ride it today, keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app — it will update as soon as the ride is available again.

If Pirates of the Caribbean is one of your must-dos, you may need to shift your schedule around to accommodate its reopening time. The most important thing you can do when something like this happens on a busy day is be flexible.
