Are you tired of wearing the same types of outfits at Disney?

We’re taking style tips from Disney characters now!

Maybe you want to try dressing up a bit more for your photos in the parks.

Take a cue from your favorite Disney characters for your next in park look! If you’re needing a bit of inspiration (or a how-to guide) we’ve got you covered. Check out some of these outfits we put together that will have you looking stylish while staying comfortable!

Sleeping Beauty

Copy Aurora’s final look with this dress that can’t decide whether to make it pink or blue! This dress is flowy and lightweight which is excellent for those hotter park days. These sneakers are just the right touch of pink and the watercolor pattern matches the dress.

We added the rose gold Minnie ears to represent Briar Rose, but you could easily swap them out for a dedicated Sleeping Beauty pair. Add some other accessories based around the character, like this necklace featuring the three fairies fighting over what color dress to pick!

Minnie Mouse

When you step into Magic Kingdom in this ensemble everyone will immediately know who you were inspired by! It’s hard not to want to copy Minnie’s look when it’s so easy to put together. As long as you stick to her color scheme and include some red and white polka dots, you can go for whatever combination of pieces you fancy!

In this case we stuck pretty close to what she wears. A black top, red and white polka dot skirt, and yellow shoes cover the basics. This backpack makes for an excellent place to hold necessities like sunscreen and your water bottle. Last but not least, you can’t forget a pair of Minnie ears! This outfit is just the occasion to break out this classic pair that is jazzed up with tons of sequins.

Merida

Many parkgoers opt for shorts because they are cool and comfortable, plus they can help combat that annoying thigh chafing you sometimes get from walking all those miles. Merida seemed like the perfect princess to pick for a shorts-based outfit considering her disdain for all things frilly and prissy! We started this look with a pair of tan shorts as a neutral base.

The rest of this look pulls in that lovely deep teal Merida often wears. We stuck with a plain tank top to let the patterned plaid top pop; this would be a good outfit to wear if you’re planning a trip during the cooler months because you can easily add or remove this layer depending on the temperature. Throw your hair up in a ponytail with one of these adorable Brave-inspired scrunchies, and don’t forget your backpack!

Mary Poppins

In another AE Style post we showed you how to channel Ms. Poppins for a workday outfit. Now, you can go for a similar look with pieces more suited for a day in the parks instead of the office. You can still evoke her iconic outfit without needing all of those buttons and stockings — swap out the white button-up for a tank, and pick a light skirt or pair of shorts in a dark blue.

To complete the look add a dark hat (also doubles as needed sun protection!) and matching walking shoes, and don’t forget the red scarf that ties everything together (literally!). For accessories, add some simple jewelry like these daisy earrings and your favorite park bag. Now you’re ready for a true jolly holiday!

Rapunzel

If you’re planning a day in Magic Kingdom try wearing this outfit and getting some magical pics by Rapunzel’s tower! We like how simple the outfit is, and it’s a great option for those who don’t like to fuss with a ton of accessories. If you want to stick to the outfit basics but still want others to know which character you’re going for, make sure to pick items that have identifiable colors and icons.

This dress is the perfect purple and features scenes from I See The Light. Delicate lanterns float up from the hem and pepper the rest of this comfortable dress. We punched up the look a bit more with these Rapunzel ears, then added a Minnie bag as bright a yellow as Rapunzel’s magical hair. Slide into your favorite sandals or sneakers for the best day ever.

Miles Morales

More of a Marvel fan? You can still find plenty of pieces to help you achieve your dream superhero (or villain) look. Here, we based this look off of Miles Morales, one of the many aliases of Spider-Man. His official uniform is comprised of red and black so we stuck with those colors to create a distinctive outfit.

In the movie Into the Spiderverse we see Miles spending a lot of time spraying graffiti across the city, which is why we chose this red and black tee with a spray painted logo. We also found a mini backpack featuring his mask and some earrings also in his signature colors. To break up the look, add a contrasting pair of bottoms, like this gray skort. We can totally imagine Miles running around in some basketball sneakers like these, and they’ll keep your feet comfortable all day long.

Pick one of these outfits to wear on your next trip to Disney World, or use this as a jumping point when you create your packing list! Don’t forget to check out other outfit posts we have, and stay tuned for new looks.
