25 New Menu Items Coming to Disney World Hotels

We’ve tried quite a few new food items in Disney World recently!

Cinderella Castle

From Halloween snacks to new eats at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, there are going to be plenty of new and exciting food options for you to discover on your next trip. And now, even MORE new food is coming to the Disney World resorts!

Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Starting at the Beauty and the Beast-themed lounge, we’ve got new offerings, including “a charcuterie board, artisanal cheese selection, and hummus with tapenade, smoked paprika, and grilled pita bread.” They’re also introducing a Smoked Trout and Crab Dip with salmon roe, chive oil, and sesame seed lavosh.

On top of that, they’re introducing Caviar made with Siberian caviar, an egg yolk spread, crème fraiche, caper berries, and brioche. If that’s too adventurous, go for the Seasonal Flatbread with artichoke, fig, ricotta, roasted garlic, and watercress.

We can’t wait to taste the new dishes for ourselves!

Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside

Boatwright’s is ready to introduce more Cajun and southern flavors to the menu, and we certainly aren’t complaining! The Lowcountry Seafood Boil is filled with shrimp, mussels, and Andouille sausage with corn on the cob and potatoes simmered in a spicy Cajun broth and served with a toasted baguette. Or, you might be interested in the Blackened Prime Rib topped with Cajun butter and served with classic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

For something with a little bit of everything, order the Taste of the Bayou, which Disney describes as “the chef’s all-you-care-to-enjoy platter with hickory-smoked pork ribs, crispy Cajun chicken, smoked sausage, barbecued beef brisket, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, roasted corn with Cajun butter, and seasonal vegetables!”

Finally, we’ve got a plant-based option with the Harvest Red Beans and Rice made with red beans simmered with plant-based sausage, peppers, onions, and celery served over rice along with cornbread.

But we can’t forget about dessert! There are three options now — The Southern Cheesecake (a classic vanilla cheesecake with a bourbon-caramel sauce garnished with pecan-praline brittle), the plant-based Blackberry Cobbler (a classic peach and blackberry cobbler topped with blackberry sorbet), or the Mississippi Mud Crème Brûlée (a milk chocolate crème brûlée with a sablé breton cookie and fresh fruit). YUM!

For the little ones, they’re serving the Row Row Oar Your Boat Sundae and Cookies and Milk.

River Roost Lounge at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside

Nearby at River Roost Lounge, there are new items to try as well. For plant-based eaters (or anyone who wants to try it), they’re serving up the Spinach and Artichoke Dip made with a creamy dip served with Cajun-dusted cornbread crostini.

If you’d like an adult beverage to go along with it, order the French 75, made with Argyle Sparkling Brut, Hendricks Gin, fresh lemon juice, and pure cane sugar.

Scat Cat’s Club at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter

Next door on the other side of Port Orleans, we’ve got new dishes at Scat Cat’s Club and Lounge. The Sassy Sassagoula Sliders (what a great name!) features “BBQ jackfruit with slaw and fried pickles, fried green tomatoes with giardiniera and pepper jelly, and lastly a “fish” cake with spicy rémoulade and arugula.”

They’re plant-based as well, so those on special diets can enjoy them!

Bar Riva at Disney’s Riviera Resort

Let’s start out here with the new Burrata Salad, made with heirloom tomatoes, fresh pesto, and focaccia bread. There’s also the Salmon with Orzo, which “serves up a perfectly seared salmon with Pomodroccio tapenade and lemon orzo.” Finally, the Mushroom Arancini features risotto, mushroom, cheese, and truffle, all served with a house-made marinara.
